At last, i want to say although my college is not too much famous but i believe that one day it will and the it will improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good. .i gave read in 3 tier system1st year , second year, third year, in first year you have to read two paper and each paper is for 100 marks in second year you have to take exam for 300 mark and also in third year

Placement Experience

As a general degree college the placement and job opportunities are not too good but many of our ex seniors have done great work in their respective part but some of our students get job.

College Events

In each year many seminars are held in respective department. Some international personality had come our college to give their valuable speech to us also some social programs like blood donation camp, tree plantation etc are held by students union

Fee Structure And Facilities

I will tell that it is niether too much feasible or nor too much expensive but fees in accordance with facilities are great as a student u have to learn something allaways from your senior and as well as teacher

Yeah. as I mentioned that the fees is not too feasible but some scholarships facilities are available in our college many students in each year from econonomicall weaker family comes to our college and study here. They apply for scholarship and some of them get that.

Labs ar good but need some improvement every year in some sports program our college grab some good position.

Admission

At first u have select your stream and then you have to form fillu online in a cafe after submission you have to pay the form fillup fee and the college will give a date. On that date the merrit list will published and u have to present in the respective date for counseling if your name gets selected you will be able to take admission

Good, the teaching staff of our college is very good the are very helpfull in the class and outside the class. They also teach good manner and also culture you will feel here why teacher is called friend philosopher and guide

Likes

Laboratories facilities are amazing as it is a premium institute. All the labs contains instrument which are available only in institute of national importance o
Faculties are amazingly qualified as well as friendly for solving your doubts
You get multiple opportunities for the industrial experience as internship. This institute provide amazing placement opportunities with high salaries.

Dislikes

The area of the campus is small leads to chaos. Which will be averted after shifting to new campus
Due to the small campus sitting places are very small
Hostel facilities and rooms are very poor.

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Likes

Well equipped laboratories with all necessary instruments and chemicals and whatever that is required. Even Electron microscope are available
Senior and Junior relationship is great, and PhD scholars often guide you in studies and in Life
Canteens, Playground, Books shops are near or inside the Campus with Department and Central Library with access to many books and online resources and WiFi

Dislikes

Politics is on peak since great colleges in india such as JNU are engaged in political activities
Attendance above 75 percent is mandatory to appear for exams
The duration of practical can be of 4-5 hours at a strech sometimes apart from Theory classes

Placement Experience:

Not all courses provides placements. But Placements are often common in departments such as Geology, for other departments, faculties can provide letters of recommendations and absorb as PhD scolars after PG completion and satisfactory performance

My thoughts on our beloved Sidho Kanho Birsha University.

Likes

The most I liked about my university is the infrastructure and availability of facilities for our studies.
Second thing I like are our professors . They help us in every aspect of our educational or personal life .
Third thing I like the most is my batchmates who gives me encouragement for pursuing my studies.

Dislikes

The university is a bit far from the Purulia city . So the connectivity is a problem.
I think if we get some extra hours of the lab facilities, that will be great.
Water purifier are available in some of the floors I think the number should be increased.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of our university is quite good and it is getting better day by day. Especially our chemistry department is doing great in this field. Last year our dept almost hit 100% placements and the highest package was of 5 lpa. I am planning to peruse my PhD after MSc.

For Physics First You Try Govt. College,If you don't get admission then take admission here for BSc.For MSc don't take admission here in any situation.

To take admission on Bsc in any stream you have to qualify about 75% in total and 75+ in your mainstream in HS. But here you can take admission by money given under the table if you don't qualify the cut-off marks to take admission ????.. Application is an online process, but you have to present in the right hall room at the time of admission, otherwise, you will lose your seat which is will be filled up in some black way. All category reservation according to the Guidelines of UGC is allowed here. You have to keep patience in the admission line because they take admission of all students on a particular day, so you have to stay in a long line for your admission approval. ADMISSION PROCESS: No, there is no entrance-type examination for admission at the Undergraduate level. Admission takes place by marks obtained in classes 12th and 10th. The first shortlisted applicants by the basis of their marks (as said above) and the College give a counseling date for admission. At the time of admission, you have to pay some admission fees to book your seat. Yes, there are some seats for sc, st,obc and PWD candidates.No minimum age required. You can apply to various subjects but you have to choose only one of them if you get it. Suppose you get a seat for Mathematics but after some days you get a chance to take admission in Physics then you have to show a payslip given by college during your admission in Mathematics to reduce the admission fees. The admission happens in a hall room and some officers will come and call the name of the eligible candidates.
