I gave AIEEE i scored a rank of 28000. I opted for civil engg. Because its a practical kind of course you get knowledge of construction work all around you related to its design to execution. Its very practical kind of subject with a great visualisation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is fully appropriate. Its has design elements such as UTA 001 Engineering Graphics To inculcate the imagination and mental visualization capabilities for interpreting the geometrical details of common engineering objects.To impart knowledge about principles/methods related to projections of one, two and three dimensional objects.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience is awesome. We get to learn practical aspects of civil eng. yes stipend is offerd by some companies ranging from 8000-1000 per month. Its for about 6 months

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are quite ok for civil engg. in civil engg initial packages are about 4 lakh to 7 lakh max. companies coming are L&T, pujngloid, shapoorji, etc.

College Events

Festivals like saturnalia and tech fest like aranya and each sat-sun auditorium movie showcase. Then music and dance compitions on regular basis. Then socities like urja, pragya etc.

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
