Remarks

Eligibility is-B.tech marks, valid WBUT PGET ( Postgraduate entrance test conducted by MAKAUT, WB) score card, Valid GATE( Graduate aptitude test) score card. I found the application form at the portal of MAKAUT, at the portal I also paid the fees and took admission in this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

After B.Tech I developed an interest in artificial intelligence-related things like a robotic arm, robotic bot, etc. I always curious about how AI-enabled robots are working. So I choose that course. The faculty and student ratio is 15:1. Some of the teachers teach very well some are not and their teaching method was also different. Exam's difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Internshala offered internships with stipends. I have got a paid internship from Internshala. Basically, my internship is based on web designing. now I am using PHP for website designing. My internship experience is good with Internshala.

Placement Experience

From the third semester of M.tech, students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies visited are Cognizant, Infosys, TCS and Wipro. Highest package is INR 10 LPA and average package was INR 6 LPA. 60 % of students are getting placed. After getting the degree, I would like to do PHD.

Fees and Financial Aid

The amount of fees is RS. 86,800/- .As I am from a middle-class family, I would like to say that the fees is pocket friendly for that course. But I did not get any schloarship or financial assistance from MAKAUT.

Campus Life

We got an open library here. There are various types of books available here. Classrooms are quite big. we got a really big play ground for organizing different types of sports and extra curricular activities like dancing, drama etc

M.Tech in IIT KGP - What you need to know.

Placement takes place in two form one in December and other in January. Students should have more than 8.5 cgpa for good placements. I will join a good company after completing the degree.
