Remarks

The admission was smooth and held online due to the hardcore lockdown regulations. The course fees for the first semester and the admission fees were paid at the time of admission. The receipt was sent online by the conducting personnel and the form was submitted after the provision of a form number. The eligibility of the course included board marks and entrance exams. The application form can be found at the Uem online admission portal. dates for this year haven't been published yet.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to study further into the matter of Artificial Intelligence as per my specialization. The faculty-student ratio is based on 1 teacher per 10 students. The faculty members are highly qualified in their respective subjects and teach in quite extensive details. Exams are held as per the schedule and are moderately hard.

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are mostly general as per other private colleges and the course for Btech is Rs. 70,000 per semester and Rs. 91,200 at the time of admission. Other courses like BBA, BCA, MBA, and MCA have fees ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 per semester. Students with more than 90% on their boards receive a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 from the university.

Campus Life

The life at the campus is quite lively with ECSTASIA, the fest held in March-April and URECKON, tech fest held in JANUARY-FEBRUARY. The classrooms are well equipped with projector setups. The library is filled with books and sports are held in high regard. The students have also formed various clubs including literature, theatrics and photography.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
