A good university in the city for computer engineers.

Students can take admission in UEM by giving entrance exams like WBJEE, JEE Mains, and also IEMJEE. The application form for IEMJEE can be filled in their official website. For reservation of seats, students have to deposit 10K which is refundable. Direct admission can also be done in ashram building in salt lake kolkata.

I chose this course-CSE because I wanted to study various computer pragramming languages and about web development. The faculty members in UEM and very helpful and cooperative. They will guide you throughout your course. They are highly qualified teachers having high valued degrees like masters or a phd holder. Our term exams are held every alternate month for every semester. So in course due time 6 months for each semester we have 2 term exams and the final end semester examination. This helps students be busy with their work and studies, doesn't distract them.

Many internships are offered in our university. If your grades are excellent and have relevant skills then you can easily grab an internship. From second year each semester students have to do an innovative project.

From the sixth semester, campus placement starts. Comapnies like Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, Infosys, TCs are mostly visited. 90% of the students get placements if their academic results are good. The average package is 4LPA and the highest package is 45LPA. I plan to get placed in an IT field with an excellent package.

The course fee for each semester is seventy thousand and one thousand for semester exam fees. Students can get scholarships if they have excellent grades in their semester exams and their co-curricular activites too. Students are provided with many internship oppurtunities.

A technical fest URECKON is organized in our university where students can participate and show their skills, win exciting rewards and prizes. The library in our university is very huge and densely populated with books. There is a huge quantity of books, newspapers, and journals present there where students can go and read during the class hours. In sports activities, various tournaments are held like cricket, football, and badminton. A Self-defence workshop is held for girl students on campus. Clubs are also there like Rotaract club, dance, music, coding clubs.
