Beautiful Campus, Nice teachers , Friendly Classmates

The Admission in college is made on the basis of marks of the 12th class. The best four subjects are considered in which we have to include one language subject. There are also deductions for changing the stream. 27% reservation is available to OBC category students. 3-4 four cut-offs are declared. and after that special drive is taken place to give admission to new students. Usually cut-off for general category students closes after the third cut-off. Students need to register in the DU admission portal for taking admission.

B.com course gives detailed knowledge of various aspects of the business. It includes some interesting subjects like marketing, finance, Human resource management, Statistics, Economics, Banking and financial institutions, Organisational behavior, Strategic management, etc. Placement is good here for commerce department students. The student faculty ratio is about 25:1. Teachers give real-life examples while teaching. They are well versed in teaching and research. Assessments are made on the basis of classes presentation, group discussions, unit tests, assignments, projects, end-term examinations, etc. All these activities are conducted on a timely basis. Balvinder Kaur and Naresh Dhawan Sir were my favorite teacher.

The placement percentage is not impressive but candidates with good communication skills and good knowledge of the are assured of good placement. A single company generally takes 2-4 candidates per batch. Some companies that visited the campus are Byjus, Deloitte, Toppr , white hat jr etc. Placement is needed to be improved.

A fee of the college is affordable. For B.com it is around 11000 plus an additional fee for examining the form. the earlier fee was 14000 now it is reduced. There are various scholarships available for needy students like Inder Raj Dhawan Memorial prize, Dr. Usha Aggarwal tejaswi scholarship, Sk Batra Memorial Prize, Sanjeev Arora Memorial Prize, Dr. K.C. Trikha Memorial Prize, etc and other need-based scholarships.

TIDE - the annual fest of the college provides students full of joy and excitement. Various guest celebrities come here to perform and students from all south campus colleges and other Delhi University college students attend the fest. SANGHARSH - the annual fest of NCC is also famous in Delhi University. Events happen here on monthly basis to improve the personality of students. The Library of the college is well versed with academic books as well as famous novels , journals and periodicals. Classrooms are spacious according to the batch size. Lectures are taken on Black board , Which I think is better than projector screen. Societies are here if you arr interested in Singing , Dancing , Acting, or Sports. The college is politically active and sometimes especially at odd semesters, it disturbs the learning environment.
