Remarks

Its a good govt college With 40-50% on campus placements in CSE. Its placed in middle of the city with a large square field in front of college. It has very good quality labrotaries With varieties of equipments. Overall a good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have still not given my 1st sem But we are under makaut so all questions in smester examination are designed by makaut so there isnt anything our college can do about the exam difficulty. But the professors are havw very helping attitude in helping and teaching students how to score in semesters.

From 6th sem students are eligible for jobs. From our college TCS,wipro and other tech companies have picked employees from our cse department. I am in 1 st year so i dont know much about it so i cant say anything further.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not eligible for any kind of scholarship or financial assistance so i dont know much about it. But many of our students have gotten siemens scholarship. I am still in 1st year so i dont fave first hand experience in campussing.

Campus Life

Our college have its own facebook group. Its own whatsapp group. Every year have their own whatsapp group And every department in every year also have their own whatsapp group. Our students are also assigned by a microsoft mail crated by college.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

I applied for AoT in the first counselling but I applied for second counselling and got admitted in this college. To apply for this college you need to get around 15000 rank (for general category) in WBJEE, also diploma students can apply for this college through JELET exam.
