MY College Experience

Likes

College campus is good not very big but the college location is in good position.
The textile technology branch is very good .

Dislikes

Unavailable of asistance in lab due to our professors has to manage all things .
The hostel is bit away , not in campus.

Placement Experience:

There are 4 branch in our college from where The TT get the highest and 90% Placements and good placements such as 18lpa because of the alumunies.The alumunies are too good of our college. The rest of the department Got placed but some off campus and some on campus of 4.5lpa .

Very affordable Fees structure for btech courses.
Very helpful and polite behaviour of most of the teachers.

Dislikes

Distance from my house ie in kolkata behala.
Laboratory facilities can be improved. .

Placement Experience:

Placement scenerio is not great. Students in TT department gets 100% placement but other departments are need to work hard and maintain good cgpa for placement. Most of the students opt for competitive exams for higher studies or govt jobs.

A review on my second home

Likes

Cultural activities is a prime highlight of our college.
Infrastructure of our college is a little too old but it gives a historic vibe as it is 96 years old. But we have new buildings also in the campus.

Dislikes

The thing is don't like is the size of our college campus. I expected it to have a huge but it is okkay for a strength of 600 students

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Various MNCs visit our college during placements and recruit 100-200 students per year. 60-70% of students get their placement from campus. I am going to apply for the GATE examination to pursue master's after the degree.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year, students become eligible for campus on-placement process. Many companies came to our college for recruitment, like Cognizant, Wipro, polled, young optics, Technoforte etc. They give different offers. In this year highest package in on-campus placement is offered by Young optics company, it's 13.28 LPA. Tital 17 students from ME and EE branch get placed for this company in manufacturing engineering job role. In this year placement percentage is almost 75% in average. My plan is to get a job in a Software Company.

From 6th semester students are eligible for placement. The highest package is 15lpa and lowest is 2.5lpa. 100% students are placed. I've got internship opportunity in 5th semester at ABG group and then from that company I've also got pre placement offer in 7th semester.

CSE - Maximum Students are placed EE - 55% of students are placed in this year upto the date ME - 31% of students are placed up to the date. For both EE and ME, 1student of each course is placed in the core company

I choose this course as I was interested in electrical engineering works There are 26 seats available in the college The teachers are quite decent and they are helpful for solving the problems The teachers have done their PhD. There are lot of extracurricular activities in the college. The students can learn a lot of things. The semester exams are held by MAKAUT UNIVERSITY. If the student is well prepared he can solve it easily . You can pass this exams easily

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because there is a huge amount of scope in the future for growth. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. and they are awesome in teaching I very much enjoyed their teaching and I loved it. The internal exams were taken timely and they are not very difficult mostly they are concept-based examinations.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not so good especially the mechanical engineering campus and other departments like CSE and textile department campus are good. Here 40% campusing is taken. Average 1.8 lakh is package and highest package 7.8 lakh. Good companies are come to take the campusing. Students should complete just their BTech course in this college and they should think about higher studies like Mtech, MBA, etc. Students should take the preparation for this higher studies cracking exams like GATE, CAT, etc. Future students, I must suggest you take the college for just completing the BTech because it's very tough to get the campus in this college. You must take the preparation of Higher studies cracking exams from 1st year. This college fees structure is too much low so it is very affordable for the students who are belonging to poor family
