Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology Behrampore Placement 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

From seventh or eighth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Adobe, Trident, Siemens, Infosys have visited, and I don't know the exact number of offers as some offer gets rejected by students sometimes for a better opportunity. The highest package was 27 LPA and average package is around 4LPA-8LPA. I don't have the exact data related to the percentage of students getting placements but a rough estimate is around 50 per cent. I have plans to do higher studies and then I'll apply for any job after graduation.

There are 4 branch in our college from where The TT get the highest and 90% Placements and good placements such as 18lpa because of the alumunies.The alumunies are too good of our college. The rest of the department Got placed but some off campus and some on campus of 4.5lpa .

Placement scenerio is not great. Students in TT department gets 100% placement but other departments are need to work hard and maintain good cgpa for placement. Most of the students opt for competitive exams for higher studies or govt jobs.

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Various MNCs visit our college during placements and recruit 100-200 students per year. 60-70% of students get their placement from campus. I am going to apply for the GATE examination to pursue master's after the degree.

After 3rd year, students become eligible for campus on-placement process. Many companies came to our college for recruitment, like Cognizant, Wipro, polled, young optics, Technoforte etc. They give different offers. In this year highest package in on-campus placement is offered by Young optics company, it's 13.28 LPA. Tital 17 students from ME and EE branch get placed for this company in manufacturing engineering job role. In this year placement percentage is almost 75% in average. My plan is to get a job in a Software Company.

Campus placement is not so good especially the mechanical engineering campus and other departments like CSE and textile department campus are good. Here 40% campusing is taken. Average 1.8 lakh is package and highest package 7.8 lakh. Good companies are come to take the campusing. Students should complete just their BTech course in this college and they should think about higher studies like Mtech, MBA, etc. Students should take the preparation for this higher studies cracking exams like GATE, CAT, etc. Future students, I must suggest you take the college for just completing the BTech because it's very tough to get the campus in this college. You must take the preparation of Higher studies cracking exams from 1st year. This college fees structure is too much low so it is very affordable for the students who are belonging to poor family

I am a student of the first year 1st semester which is an odd semester so I have not much information about the placements of our college but I know that there is a chance for an internship in the companies like TCS etc. My plan is to complete the master degree in technology.

From the 6th semester, students can get campus placements. TCS, Infosys, and other companies visited our college. The highest package was 10lpa and the average package is 3lpa. More than 70% of students get placement. After getting the degree I got a job.

Students are almost placed after doing b.tech in every single branch From 7 th semester students can apply in various jobs and also they are eligible to apply in internship . Every year almost 15-20 companies will visit in college campus they companies name are : TCS Wipro and small start up also and Saha textile Philips etc . Highest offer in campusing 6lpa for a cse student and average package is 3.5-4 lpa Almost 60-70% are placed through campusing . My plans after completing b.tech to get job and give cat exam to pursue mba in finance .

From 6th sem students are eligible for jobs. From our college TCS,wipro and other tech companies have picked employees from our cse department. I am in 1 st year so i dont know much about it so i cant say anything further.
