Life at sggscc , Du

Cut off of DU made me choose this college. DU cutoff is really very high so my score in 12 th was 96% so I choose this college out of all colleges for which I wqs eligible to take admission. The college is near my home . Also it ranks at number 5 out of all commerce colleges. And has good infrastructure and placement and faculty. So i tool admission here.

I chose this course as I had passion for economics from class 12. I wanted to pursue my graduation in eco therefore. The sggscc cpurse of eco is as pee Du guidelines and curriculum is excellent. Faculty is also awesome . Most teachers are phd having great knowledge of subject and boosts and encourages students. They are very cooperative as well. Everything is taught in an excellent way be it online or offline.

Yes i have done 2 internships. But have got them from out of college through linkedin and internshala. However college also provides many internships. Regular updates on internships are provided through whatsapp groups relating to various profiles. Any student of any year can enroll for them . Most of them are unpaid and some have performance based stipend or incentives provided

Good placements are provided for all courses . Good companies come whether it be big 4 companies or other companies. Gppd packages are offered. Training and placement cell is very active . Some students also prefer further masters rather than sitting for placements . Highest package goes around 12 lpa and average is 5 lpa.

Fee structure is quite high as compared to other DU colleges. But that is due to infrastructure and other extra facilities . But as compared to other universities , the fees is quite nominal. Also many academic scholarships are given to toppers. Also financial assistance is provided to students with weak financial background of family . And so some money is refunded back to them as a financial help .

Life at campus is quite fun learning. The college infrastructure is awesome with a big auditorium. Many events are again and again organised along with freshers and fests. There is student union which organises these . Many socities are also there wherein students can take part and become members and other senior positions.

No i have not taken any hostel facility as i leave near to college. But some friends had taken it . There is girls hostel inside collee premises. It is well maintained and have all sorts of facilities relating to wifi , food , wardrobes , bed . Continuous water supply is there. Quality food is offered at regular timings . Registeration and payment is required for availing this services . Boys take accomodation in any pg near college as per their choice as there is no college facility for them

No . There waa just a merit based admission based on the marks scored in class 12 of board examinations. Best four percentage is calculated and cut off are released and so students can who are eligible according to that can go to respective colleges to admit themselves after providing all relevant documents amd then submitting the fees the admission is confirmed. For my course no as such interview or gd or tet was taken. It was quite a simple procedure to tke admission .
