Remarks

The most important factors that made me take admission in this institute is because my peer groups and friends told me the IIM Bangalore is a very good institute especially for Product Management courses. Apart from this, the teaching background is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The whole course curriculum is based on six semester. In each semester, there are five to six subjects. Group projects are a part of the curriculum. All faculty members are very good. Most of the experienced faculty have more than 40 years of experience in their respective field. Their way of teaching are very analysing and give real life experience. They focus on studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

IIM Bangalore charges more than 20 lakh rupees for the whole course. The institute provides scholarship to the needy students. Besides these, the government also offer scholarship known as Central Sector Scholarship for the backward students. There are also scheme which is provided by Government or colleges for financial support to the students who cannot continue their education.Loan facility is also provided by banks like State Bank of India. The loan facility is very smooth.

Campus Life

4

There were many restriction inside the campus. Many norms to be followed by us regarding wearing masks, maintaining social distance, sports, hostel room, etc. The infrastructure is very good and the campus offers many facilities. The whole campus is green Because of the green environment, we experience fresh air through day and night. Academic facilities are there like library facilty, study room, computer centres, etc. There are also many sports facilities like badminton, swimming pool, table-tennis, cricket ground. Besides sports facilities, the college also provides sports equipments for its students.

Admission

My admission process was started in two stages- Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The interview process was conducted in March. The questions that were asked during the Personal Interview round was based on work experience, hobbies, interrogate, and General Knowledge. For Group Discussion, there was discussion with experts. The Group discussion and Personal Interview was take to have real life experience. After selected, the college communicate us for the onboarding process. The admission process was very smooth.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
