Mcods Mangalore a student’s view

The course is completely changed and modern compared to old eras. We have new instruments that are recently introduced and it has been implemented in exam going subjects and other stuffs. But the concept of one day study leave is a bit irritating between exams .

As BDS curriculum dictates, we have 5 year course, 4 years of studies and 1 year of compulsory rotating internship. Ig we have the highest amount of stipend in India for a Ug level after Maulana Azad, ie 20000 per month

It's about 5 lakhs in the first year and from second year onwards it's 490000 rupees only. Which will be paid for 4 years and the total adds up to 1900000. Scholarships are based on neet ranks and there's 50% to 100% fee reduction

There are multiple clubs like dance musics sports art singing and new additions like esports and photography and drama. We attend and take part in a university level cultural event called Utsav and sports event called intermahe and we compete against 25 other MAHE colleges

The hostel is the best part of Mcods Mangalore. The junior hostel is at bejai with a curfew of 830 and is semi Co Ed but the senior boys hostel at kaprigudda is a different vibe in itself, with no curfew and a lot of freedom

This college gives its students a city view and perspective and it makes us engage in multiple activities. Mangalore is a scenic area and lots of exploring can be done each day, not to mention the beautiful beaches

The course is completely modernised with state of the art labs and other equipment's. We have our exams on epads. The faculty are very supportive and kind and if we have any issues they help us in any way possible to rectify it
