About ITS Dental College
I.T.S Dental College located on Delhi-Meerut Road, Murad Nagar, Ghaziabad was established in the year 2000. It is the only stand-alone Private Dental college to be accredited three times with NAAC “A” Grade institute. I.T.S Dental College Ghaziabad has been ranked as No1. Private Dental College in North India for the sixth successive year by the “India Today best colleges of India rankings 2023”. The college was honored with the esteemed “Best Dental College of the Year” award by Better India Education Awards 2019 and recognised as the “Most preferred PG and UG institute in India” by Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan and His Excellency Ex President Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The college has also held the prestigious “Guinness world record” for the most people using mouthwash at multiple venues simultaneously in 2018.
The college is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. I.T.S Dental College offers both undergraduate (100 seats) and postgraduate courses (45 seats in all 9 disciplines) recognized by the Dental Council of India and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
I.T.S Dental College has well established academic and clinical practices and students regularly secure top positions at university and boasts of a very robust patient flow with daily OPD of approx. 15000 patients per month. At I.T.S-CDSR, the institute prioritizes on learning through latest development in the field of dentistry. As a result, the lecture halls are well equipped with smart-boards, audio-visual aids and are ICT (Information and Communication Technology) enabled and the practical exercises are conducted in “Artificial Simulation Centre”. The institute has a fully air-conditioned library with an ambient environment for study and more than 15000 books and Journals.
The institute also has advanced technologies like CBCT, In-house aligners Lab with 3D printers,CAD-CAM equipped with intraoral scanners and digital work flow systems, Laser, Sedation Clinic, Facial Aesthetics Clinic, Centre for Implantology, Orofacial Pain Clinic, Specialized Geriatric dental Clinicand a state of the art Center for Advanced Research.
Apart from academic the institute organizes the two benchmark programs of the college i.e. the Inter College fest Occlusion and Annual internal College fest Euphoria which include both cultural and sports programs for the students.
I.T.S-CDSR offers indoor sports complex which has provision for Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Pool, Carrom and Chess. It also boasts of two fully equipped gymnasiums for boys and girls and a full size cricket ground with standard scale pitches.
I.T.S-CDSR provides certificate courses and exchange programs in association with International Universities and conducts a one of a kind comprehensive Implantology Program in collaboration with University of Barcelona, Spain and a specialized facial aesthetics fellowship program. It also has collaboration with multiple national and international universities and students regularly visit these universities as part of “student exchange programs” to enhance their academic knowledge and clinical skills. Admission to this College is purely based on Entrance exam scores. Candidates need to register themselves on the official site of their respective exams. The selection criteria for the courses are listed below:
For MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) admission, a candidate must have passed BDS with 1-year of Rotatory Internship from Dental College affiliated with DCI. The candidate should be passed NEET MDS and registered with any State Dental Council.
For BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) admission, a candidate should be 17 years old on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and should have qualified NEET-BDS.
Note: The college provides certificate courses and exchange programs in association with Implantology in Association with International Universities. ITS-CDSR has international collaborations and conducts a comprehensive Implantology Program in collaboration with Pusan University, South Korea. The College also has academic collaboration with TUFTS University, Boston. Students regularly visit these universities as part of “student exchange programs” to enhance their academic knowledge and clinical skills. - I loved the patient flow and patient interaction techniques employed with first year students. There are more patients in the hospitals then the students can handle, ensuring sufficient patient exposure to students.
- The students are involved in the clinical areas of the hospital from the first week itself, in the form of early induction programmes. This way students can understand patients and clinical practise from first year itself.
Dislikes
- The male to female ratio is low. But this is the story of every dental college in India whatsoever. In my batch, there are only 18 boys out of the total 100 students.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Despite being a private college, ITS dental college follows the same academic calender and curriculum that a government college follows. This is because ITS dental college comes under the affiliation of a government owned state university, Atal Bihari Vajpayee medical university in Lucknow. There are three different kinds of examinations. The first term exams are in December with 35% syllabus. The second term exams are in March with 70% syllabus and the final professional examinations are in July with 100% syllabus.

You need to clear neet ug to be eligible for admission in the bds course. The application form, and dates are done by the counselling process of neet and you can get more details from the admin of te college. No reservation benefits are availed.

- The uniform system but it's alright we have to be in discipline

First and foremost eligibility is that u should have qualified NEET exam according to the cuttoff, u will proceed through. You can directly come to college our Admin department will help you in your neet counseling thoroughly. You should be 10+2 pass.witj certificate.

Neet ug was the exam for choosing the course.and cut off marks 200 was eligiblility for the course. On the goggle site of ITS dental college all information about college fees can be seen.2 semesters are taken 1 pre prof and a prof exam

- The washrooms are very pathetic. There is no cleanliness and and smells like a hell.

The application forms are easily available from the college and also online available and the cut off marks are not very high upto 200 marks in neet would be very nice the exams happen in our college frequently in every 2 months

- The fee is too high for some students and they are very strict regarding fee.
- They didn't maintain Canteen properly and hostel mess food's didn't neet our expectations
Admission:
We had to take UPCAT as our entrance exam which was MCQ type Exam. I.T.S. is a top college for BDS courses, it ranks no 3 in U.P. We did have an interview process with the principal. There were 75% marks criteria as well, in the Higher secondary curriculum. I am pursuing BDS. Its fee is 3,65000 per year and 50000 security fee. If we clear NEET, then it's also good to get into it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
B.D.S is one of the growing field for the upcoming youngsters. Every thing out there in the college is up to the mark and is always under the discipline roof. Facilities like Rajvir sir, Ashish Behl sir, amit Mangal sir, Meenakshi ma'am and our principal devi charan shetty sir do not leave any stone unturned in landing help to the students and coworkers.
Admission:
Because this college have all the feature which is required to be a good dentist in future , the college is in top 15 in all over India which include government and private college both, rank 1st by India today in North India .My college was first to introduce artificial stimulation lab in all over India and this is the best part .The faculty is also good and all are experienced and always ready to help me out,the management of college is always ready to give new experience to their students .
