MY EXPERIENCE AT THE IIM BANGALORE AS A STUDENT

For me thing that really influenced me and my decision to choose this course is that in recent world we have to learn skills in every domain to be the best and to gain experience and knowledge about digital business and entrepreneurship I choose this course so in future i have adequate knowledge and experience about the skills I need in this competitive world and thats why i choose this course and the curriculum because it really prepares you for the real world applications and one thing also it that there are so many practical project for example we have so many startups in our IIM Bangalore and nsrcel so in that there so many start up that is incubated by nsrcel and the startup from nsrcel really approach us so that we can to we can do internship or gain experience from that and there are so many opportunities that we can help as one of our senior got into tokyo's conference related to sustainable development and sustainable businesses so she was very hard working and lucky also to get that opportunity and there is a program called agile coil in which we can participate and this year 5 seniors got into Hiroshima University for their workshop in Tokyo and they learned from that and gained so many experiences from that program. the improvement that is I think they can do is we have so many practical solutions also but I do think that y we can have monthly visit to campus or live classes that so that we can interact with our peers as we only get to meet them 3-4 times a year and most of them are regions based and the frequency and timing levels of is just once per semester

the year wise fees I pay is 1,25,000 for 1st year and for the second year we will be pay 1,50,000 and at the third year we will pay 1,75,000 for 3rd year and in total of all three years we will pay total of 4,50,000 rupees in all 3 years and it is just tuition fee and the registration fee for the exam that we have to give to get into this college is 3,000 rupees in which we have to give an entrance exam and on the basis of that we will be doing that and the fees structure is quite good it's not that expensive but for some people it will be difficult and we also have reservations for SC ST students it is 50% of the what other students pay 2,75,000 and there is also scholarship that they gave that I think it's percent 20% to 25% what they give for the students who can not afford the fees and it is need based and the scholarship and financial aid are also provided and the information regarding that are also provided for everyone so that they can access the course and some people are financially rich to pay all the fees for the course, so they have scholarships and also some financial aid from the professors and other faculty and they also provide internship opportunities and there are so many other things like there are so many startup that they can offer for our course so that we also get part time work so we can pay our fees from that

The annual festival for our course BBA DBE is nova unplugged which is held in June or July on the campus of IIM Bangalore and there are other events also that happens like vinex that are for MBA students but we can also participate in that

The other college that I applied was for Shaheed Sukhdev College of business studies in Delhi University and I didn't get admission in that as i didn't had enough marks but I also applied for BMS course in so many Delhi University colleges but I choose this course and this college over other because this course BBA dbe is a new course and it really helps in everything that we need for our future jobs like everything in the market that is need like excel and web development and starting a venture so everything in this course really fascinates me as it is new and it will provide us so many new opportunities as this is a new batch and the Delhi University ones the course didn't really excite me that much. I did get rejected from the other college which was only one college Sukhdev College of business studies and I didn't make it there because the cutoff was very high and I got marks of 710 out of 1000 and to get into the college we have to get 760 + according to this year cut off so that's why I didn't got into that and that went wrong I didn't get admission because of some marks and admission process of our college is very simple we have to do registration and after the registration we have to pay 3000 rupees and we have a entrance test also but we can also get admission on the basis of CUET marks of this year or previous years and one basis of JEE marks from this year or previous years and and the eligibility of the entrance exam is 50% for our exam entrance exam is of 60 marks and we have to get minimum of 50% to pass this course and to get into this course but for SC ST candidate it is 40% passing criteria and the entrance exam is what is preferred by the most of the student because they don't know the cutoff for cuet and jee and they prefer entrance exam on that and after that have to pass the entrance

There are 6-8 faculty in total and one of the subject is creative mindset which dr. Pavan Soni sir teaches which is very interesting subject by the way and we have also financial statements in which we learn and there is a subject called business statistics that we study which is really interesting also and we have to give midterm for statistics and we have a students of total I guess 1004 for our batch and it is very approachable to approach our teachers in the discussion forum in which the students can ask their question regarding module or anything else and the faculty or the professor of that subject will reply on that or you can even after that the queries or doubts left then you can ask in live session so it's very approachable and I really like subject of creative mindset which is based on a book design your thinking by our professor Dr Pavan Soni and he is really amazing and I really enjoy his subject and its really fun to learn that subject it is very easy also even though I didn't score that much in my clas but I do have interest in that particular subject I am really excited for the modules that the professor will teach in future and I am also enjoying the business statistics subject and statistics is a brilliant subject if you practice it from the beginning and I am enjoying that and the professor who is teaching that is really amazing and he is really expert in that subject and I am really enjoying that subject and there are clas for every subject like for the creative mindset module we have 4 CLAs and for the financial statement module we have 8 clas and in statistics we have one mid term exam in which we have to give exam and on the basis of that we will be given our internal marks

night life of our campus and around the campus is very peaceful as there is so many greenery in the campus that we go there are so many trees and it's very peaceful also you can go there and do anything you want its very peaceful and safe also and for girls also lwhen we have an event and we just finish it and we came back to our hostel after from the auditorium it's very safe for girls also and there is also canteen that has very tasty foods and we have so much fun in that area and we can also go to library and there is also public area in which we go play games and play some indoor games and the hostel and campus timings are not that strict but there we have to go in time we can sleep in time and wake up at time and the famous hangout place inside the University is the cafeteria and in the outside of campus there is rameshwaram cafe outside the university which is very famous
