MY HONEST REVIEW FOR MY COLLEGE AT IIM BANGALORE

There are many reasons for opting this curriculum , firstly , this is the course which has been structured by one the pioneers of the management of colleges of india .IIMB tag in itself is of lot importance which will allure students for opting this course at firsthand. secondly , the curriculum designed is in such a way that students will learn things which are useful in future needs and cannot be replaced such as digital entreprenuership and business .Powerfull s]tools such as AI will be taught to us which are the running models in upcoming decade. we are ingaged in lots of real life based problems and case studies in order to better understand the problem and solution. and the other details are already mentioned by me in previous parts of the review and much more to come.

WE will be given internship opportunities after 3rd year of the program. And we are not promised about the placement opportunities from the campus although we will be capable on our own for this task. But for the program like pgp and other , college provide many internship opportunities that i will be. mentioning below: Summer internships coorperate internship/ live projects inductry-specific internship entrepreneurship focused internship research internship key companies offering internship such as Mckinsey , BCG , deloitte , accenture . amazon , flipkart etc we also have startup incubators. inside campus which is NSRCEL .

As this BBA DBE degree is the newest course started by IIMB for the undergrads , this course offers a high class study module by world class professors. Fee structure for this course as of now. is 4.5 lakh rupees for 3 years which is divided annually as 1.25 lakh for the first year , 1.5 lakh for the second year and 1.75 lakh rupees for the third year . Then these annual fees is further divided according to the term wise as there are 9 semesters and fees will be taken semester wise. There are many consation on the minority communities such as obc , sc , st . for them there will be total fees around 3lakh rupees . and that is further divided likewise .

keeping one thing in mind that this course is an. online program, we students as of now don't have any access to inside campus of IIM B . But that doesn't mean we won't be having any access in future, there is some chance . And talking about other things like library clubs fest and programs, we take equal part in whichever programs are set for the students of BBA DBE program. We are also provided with the library which is online having all the book materials and access to study online with fellow mates. our classes are held online via zoom or ms teems. and we are given a different Application named IIMBx where we are given with the study modules and mid term examinations . We are engaged in extracurricular activities such as video content and other skills. only demerit of tthis. course is only that we don't have any campus life experience.

So my story, as i was preparing for IPMAT examination and other B school entrance examination after 12th , my story would be inspiring for lots of students.. so as i completed my 12th i went to delhi for my ipm preparation and did my coaching at Ipm careers. I applied for IIM RANCHI , IIM JAMMU IIM BODHGAYA , IIFT KAKINADA, IIM ROHTAK , AND IIM INDORE TO BE SPECIFIC. other than these i applied for other b schools such as NALSAR IPM PROGRAM, CHRIST , symb., TAPMI , NIRMA University etc . So after my examination i realised that i couldn't make into iim indore by 7 marks that was so disappointing for me. but luckily I converted into NALSAR IPM AND NIRMA AND TAPMI UNIVERSITY .But for graduation , these colleges were so coslty and didn't fir my budget . I was so much in turmoil and depressed by this as i prepared for a whole year as a drop year . BUT by this time we got an supper amazing news that IIM BANGALORE , the pioneer of management colleges in india, started its BBA program although it was an online program. so i prepared for the examination which they conducted named as bba dbe examination. I scored 45/60 which were decent as it was conducted for the first time . general category cut offs were somewhat around 35~ and for other categories below 30 . I was so happy that i got into this course as this was by IIM B . Name says everything by itself . But i prepared hard for this but the examination level was quite easy i would say , but from the next year onwards , things might change as the competition will increase.

So talking about faculty, all the prof. that has been provided to us for this course are so so professional in their fields and carry a proper knowledge as how to teach in organised manner . we get weekly modlues for about two subjects and get time to finish them up .Then we have live sessions with those faculty membbers for better understanding of the course and we get proper interface to interact with the faculty so that we can clear our respectuve doubts during live sessions itself . as ive gone through only a fraction of this whole course and interacted with only few of the prof. ,one of the profesors i like the most would be the faculty for creative mindset and innovation dr. pavan soni . He is so so great and his words are so wise .other faculty members are also equally capable of being liked by the students like prof. suresh who is out entreprenuership course faculty. he is so interesting and we love to listen him .i don't have any faculty as such whom i would dislike as all of them are so perfect . for the examination we have online exams which are mid terms which carry 25% weightage which are graded quizes held on ouR IIMBX portal. and then we have in center examinations for each term for testing studends knowledge in general. which carry 75% weightage . if you are not able to get minimum 40% marks you will be considered as fail and have to give reexam .this course curriculum is so so important as it focuses on future sustanibiility and innovation .

As per my experience from my seniors of pgp program. Campus life of iims are so so rich and perfect. Combination of rigorous studies and activities and lots of fests and events are presented to the students. Hostels of the IIMB are so well maintained and we get private personal rooms if we want or we can have sharing rooms as well. There are very few restrictions for the students . Timings of IN CAMPUS are no so rigid you can adjust accordingly if you have any emergency. Talking about night life , it is so much fun and rich as we are given so many events nd programs for sports and showcasing your skills. we are given a big gym inside campus for fitness purpose as it is also a important part. campus is so big and beautiful of about 110 acres . Which is covered full of trees and plants which gives fresh air to breathe. cafeteria and mess are so good and the food that students get are very diverse and delicious. Talking about the safety , we never heard any such accident happend so far
