Remarks

One of the prominent reason, that KJ Somaiya is located in Mumbai, which is a commercial capacity of India. Second it has a huge campus located in the heart of the city and around 50 acres .It is a well known brands, and alums are posted on top of companies like MD and CEO also have their own companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course we do have, We have normal MBA, then MBA international business in marketing competition, MBA in health care management, MBA in coach management, MBA in financial management .basically these are the courses in our college. We have Cat, GMAT, One subject is of 3 credits .3 credits of 100 marks .and 1.5 credit .1.5 credits have 50 marks. The 50 marks will be divide into 25 and 25 marks .and if the subject is full credit that is full credit then, then internal will be 50 and the external that is trimester exam will consist of 50 marks. There are two parts .in internal teacher have different criteria, but if I am talking about the basic criteria, it will be like 10 marks for attendance and 10 make for class participation and 20 for presentation. And external marks are basically y the trimester exam, So basically the fees we are paying that 14 .93, which is our tuition fees and other then that if people opt for hostel it will 3.25 lacs for 2years.As already know MBA is all about connecting with different people and different batches. In our college, we have 28 companies. Spear ted in a, b and c. In a companies we have a marketing, and HR committee and b we have social committee and c we have club .so basically if you talk about social life, in these companies we are talking to about we got to talk to MBA specialized people and senior or different people to people .the scope of interaction and scope of networking gets stronger. hopefully next year if we reach campus, or is well and good and interact with many more people.faculties that we have, relevant industries experience, so they bring in much needed knowledge about goes into the industries, practical, like proper industries .they tend to teach like that only.

Placement Experience

3.5

If best companies Accenture Tata steel, recently we have companies like board companies that come to our campus. Accenture I told you already .talking about the final placement 70 to 80 percent of the natch is already placed .we have new Amazon recruited and lots of the students got in international marketing, digital marketing. but if you talk about the impact of covid, scenario mannerly it is only summer placement, not the final placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

So basically the fees we are paying that 14 .93, which is our tuition fees and other then that if people opt for hostel it will 3.25 lacs for 2years.There is a merit base scholarship and another is that Maharashtra give give to domicile holder basically for Maharashtrian people .and rather need base scholarship, people will less then 5 lacs covers around 60 % of the scholarships. If best companies Accenture Tata steel, recently we have companies like board companies that come to our campus. Accenture I told you already .talking about the final placement 70 to 80 percent of the batch is already placed .we have new Amazon recruited and lots of the students got in international marketing, digital marketing. but if you talk about the impact of covid, scenario mannerly it is only summer placement, not the final placement.

Admission

So basically I filled the form after we gave the cat exam in, my time on 24 November. After that I filled the form .I got a though GMAT. i got a call around Feb 24 or 25. then I got to my center .in the process we have GDPI and interview round and subsequently a case discussions also. This year they have started discussion Until last year they had taken group discussion and personal interview .basically that is the whole procedure .I got call the final call of my conversion around march. We are uncertain as of this time .but most probably student get all-around late march or start of April. It was not in a hotel .it was basically in Ranchi. When I entered into a topic related to army .there are 10 people in the room .everyone got their chance and conclude respect .so it was basically a good discussion. Overall subsequently after that we have our PIS, which are running around to be after 5 years, long term plan, other than that what you are doing in free time .hobbies and what books you are reading. basically it is upon us how we tend to drive our interview .that is the only tip or experiment or the memories from pi exams. that I could share. At our time we have GD and PI, but this time they have CD, case discussion and pi because of online exam .in our time we got GD for 10 min and 2 min for conclude .before that 3 minutes to like recite a point and wrote points .There were 10 people and three moderator for that only .other then there in pi three different moderator, there were a panel for 6 teacher as moderator for GD and 3 moderator for pi. overall it is pretty mode as far as I remembered and KJ Soumya is concerned . So basically topics is related to current topics only .there is very less chance of abstract topics . Why blue is the new orange, why black is the new favorite color like that, it is very rare that these types of topics comes to GD and pi.it is basically all about the current affair, we have to mug up pretty well before going to GD and pi Pi processOk, first answering your first it depends upon college to college, different like panelist to panelist about the difficulty level . as I had that idea, so the stressed interview questions about account, math's and from my subject .as far as KJ Somaiya interview concern it was pretty chills, what movies I watched what are your hobbies, then what do I see myself next 20 years or 5 years, have I ever been to Mumbai .what books I read, these were the basic questions were asked in my kJ Somaiya pi.They have started with normal interview as I said how are you and where are you from .then they asked from where did I do my college .also I did dbm in marketing, so they asked me why did you chose marketing .so I answered them, I found it from very relevant to the practical world .it is very dynamic concept, it changes from time to time .they like my answers subsequently they asked me about what you do want to pursue marketing because of the same reasons .then I was asked about what you feel yourself in the next 5 year .i told them that I want to get in to branding rules, them brand manager then next 5 year .basically you have to be pretty direct .don't try filling around them they have taken multiple interviews pi and everything. Basically tell what you know, only and if you don't know plz tell them directly that i will come back etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
