Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm pursuing btech aeronautical engineering and my total course fee for 4 years is 5.3 lacs and I'm not aware of any scholarship. I paid 1,38,000 for the first year and there are two types of rooms in hostel two sharing(attached washroom) and four sharing. Two sharing is for 1,50,000 and four sharing is for 1,10,000. And yes the course fee is increased from the last year

Campus Life

3

Sandip University's campus is sprawling across 250+ acres located at trimbak road in Nashik. The environment is peaceful, surrounded by greenery and hills, which makes it perfect for focused study and a healthy lifestyle. Campus life is active and engaging, with a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Sandip University has several-led clubs, which play a big role in shaping campus culture. These clubs helps in personality development, leadership skills, and networking. Many students credit these activities for boosting their confidence and employability. The university's infrastructure is one of its strongest points, combining modern design with functionality. Socially, the campus has been lively and welcoming. The diverse crowd has helped me develop a broader perspective and make friends from different backgrounds. Club activities gave me a chance to explore my interests beyond academics. Infrastructure has been excellent, especially the labs and innovation centre, which make learning very practical and hand-on.

Hostel Facilities

3

The university provides separate hostels for boys and girls right inside the campus, which makes it safe, secure and convenient for students. These hostels are designed to give a comfortable living experience while maintaining a disciplined environment. Double sharing and four sharing rooms are available according to budget and preferences. All rooms are furnished with: Bed and mattresses Study table and chair Wardrobe/closet Proper ventilation and windows for natural light. Food quality is generally good but can feel repetitive, which is normal for hostel life On weekends , special dishes or sweets are sometimes served to break the monotony.

Admission

I chose Sandip University because it offered a combination of modern infrastructure, diverse programs and good placement achievements, which matched my academic and career goals. The campus is spread over 250+ acres providing excellent facilities like well equipped labs and workshops, design studios, libraries and hostels. I had also considered a few other private and government colleges. Government colleges have brand value and lower fees but competition is very tough. Among private colleges, Sandip University stood out for its balance of affordability, modern curriculum, and placement support. Steps involved to take admission in Sandip University: 1. Application form. 2. Entrance exam- SU-JEE. 3. Counselling and document verification. 4. Seat allotment. 5. Fee payment and confirmation.

Faculty

4

Sandip University has a mix of experienced and young faculty. Many professors hold PhDs and degrees from IIT, NIT and top universities in india and abroad. They are involved in research and publications which add depths to their teaching. Faculty are approachable and often guide students in project internship and career planning. Practical training is emphasised, especially in labs and workshops. The university provides a wide range of programs like Engineering, Management, design, law, science, pharmacy etc. PHD and diploma courses are also available. A continuous internal assessment (CIA) includes class tests, assignments, quizzes, presentations and lab work. Helps students to perform throughout the semester. Typically contributes 20-30% of total marks. End semster exams are held at the end of each semester usually covering the entire syllabus. More weightage than CIA (often 70-80% of total marks). Passing criteria- theory exams: 40% required to pass Practical exams: 20/50 marks required Minimum 80% attendance is mandatory to sit for final exams. Tips for students- Don't rely on the last minute preparation. Perform well in CIA to secure easy marks. Keep attendance high, to appear in exams. Focus on projects and internship, as they help with placements.

Night Life

3

Since its a private university with strict rules on-campus nightlife is quiet and structured. If you want to explore nightlife outside the campus, you'll need to travel around 30-40 minutes into nashik city. If you're someone who loves quiet nights, stargazing or group bounding in hostels, you'll enjoy the serene atmosphere around campus. Most students make their nightlife funthrough movie marathons, late night talks, or small celebrations in hostels rather than big parties. If you're into city nightlife you can head to Nashik on weekends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance & Decision Factors I would rate the curriculum an 8.5/10 for its contemporary relevance. FFCS System: A major factor for many students is the Fully Flexible Credit System. It allows you to tailor your curriculum—for instance, a Mechanical Engineering student can take minor credits in "Prompt Engineering" or "Financial Analytics" to stay competitive in the tech-driven job market. Industry Focus: The curriculum is updated frequently. In 2026, there is a clear emphasis on Holistic Learning, where elective courses are structured to help you specialize in niche domains like Bioinformatics, Information Security, or Machine Learning. Application-Oriented: The "J-Component" (Project Component) integrated into most core subjects ensures that you don't just learn theory; you must build a prototype, code an application, or conduct a researc

Semester 7 is when the placement season starts, and sem 5 onwards you can appear for internship season. The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess. I am planning to work in a chemical process design firm.
