Remarks

I applied for Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College in the second DU cutoff, I got 93% with ObC QUOTA, the minimum criteria in second cut-off for bcom Programme was 91.5 percent, thus I was eligible to apply for it. The admission process in the college was quite simple and short compared to other colleges. They checked my documents and I had complete some forms, and just like that my admission was complete. There was an orientation day when the college started, which was a great experience, we were welcomed by the seniors, got to see around the college and it was a wholesome experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was interested in commerce but didn't have an aptitude for maths, so BCom Programme was a great option. The faculty in our college is very qualified and always there to help us. Their teaching methods are simple and yet innovative. Semester exams happened every six months other than the class tests that the teachers took.

Internships Opportunities

4

Various internship opportunities are available to students in all the years of college through our placement cell. Usually companies like Paytm, K12 Learning, teachforindia , etc offer internship to the various students. The internships are both paid and unpaid, but what matters the most is the experience that a student gains during the tenure of working with such organisations.they get to learn alot and improve alot.

Placement Experience

4

Usually, the students from semesters 5-6 are eligible for the various placement opportunities that come to us, but students from all the years are eligible for the internships. Various big companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Wipro, come to our college and select dozens of students. The packages they offer vary from job to job but I think on average, about 3-4 LPA packages are rolled out to the selected students. I myself plan on getting few years of corporate experience and then doing master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure in BCom Programme in ARSD College is around 10000 rupess per year. So even with the traveling and other costs, the total cost of college doesn't add up to much. i travel from metro which adds upto around 20000 rupees a year ,which is still pretty low compared to all the private institutions. The fees structure is different for differents students. Myself being an OBC students, had to pay a fees which is just a little less than the general fees. There are alot of Job opportunity that are available in our college.

Campus Life

4

There are alot of events conducted throughout the year in the college. The Annual college fest, namely, TIDE, is usually conducted in February before the Pandemic. The college Library has all the books that a student might need and it is quite big too. The classrooms of the college are orwtty adequate too, with normal benches and blackboards, and even smart boards in some of them as per requirement. Different sports are there in our college, it has a cricket and football field, basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court and various other indoor sports in which alot of opportunities are given to the students. The college has alot of Student Societies , Ranging from commerce and economics society,to fashion and dance societies. It is a great opportunity for the students to gain such wonderful experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject. The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management, ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable
