Remarks

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College has a NAAC Accreditation of 'A' Grade and ranks 13th all over India in NIRF Rankings released by MHRD ( Government of India). Since we were the First Batch that took admission during Covid and for the first time process went online. We have not even attended a single offline class. I haven't taken any quota and I belong to General Category ( Unreserved) which you can easily make out from my name. The admission went online. You can easily get details regarding this on the DU website, in the Bulletin of Information ( available in PDF form). Some criteria were:- One should have maths in std 12 for opting Bcom (Hons), Non Maths students can go for Bcom Program. Minimum Marks is 60+ for the general category in Eng and other subjects as well. The Method of Calculating the Best 4 in DU is a Bit different. Best 4 Includes:- 1 )Any One language ( Eng, Hindi or any language) 2) Best of 3 from Major sub like Accounts Econ Maths, Commerce/ Business Studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Bcom Hons is one of the most Famous Courses In DU having the Utmost exposure, to be honest. The Faculty of each College in DU is almost the same. They have the same experience in all terms. But ARSD's faculty is very supportive and caring The professors are highly qualified and from prestigious universities like DU, JNU, IIMs etc. The teachers work really hard to get you to understand things. They are very motivating and friendly. You can share your problems and the best part is they will never back out from helping you. The exams were on time. The questions were neither very difficult nor very juicy.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Since I haven't done any finance-related internship yet, I can't provide a review over this. But We have some startups coming to our college. We are usually getting marketing related internships. These internships are usually of 45-60 days, some extend to 90 days as well. Many of them provide a stipend to their interns for working hard. Interns get Certificates of Recommendation, stipends, etc. Even the Placement cell teaches to create an attractive CV.

Placement Experience

4

Usually, last year students get placed. The college has a very active placement cell. Besides placement, many companies come to our college for providing various internships to various course students and some for every course. The highest package was around 14lakh and the lowest was 3.30 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very very nominal. And you expect that from a Union Government University College. The fees for various courses revolve around 6k to 14k yearly. You can go through times of India rankings where ARSD secured a decent rank of 12th in commerce, 14th in science and 11th for over arts. It is the fastest growing College of DU. If you are from any reserved category you can avail of various scholarships. Even the ones who prove their calibre in academics get various sponsorships.

Campus Life

5

The college has a very well furnished and equipped library. The College has various societies like National Service Scheme, National Cadet Corps (NCC), English and Hindi Debating societies, Art and Crafts Society, Article writing society like Samanvay, Acting Society like Rangayan and many many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject. The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management, ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable
