Remarks

The admission process was simple but really long, the whole process was done online due to pendamic . I just needed to upload in the necessary documents and the whole process was taken care of. As my college is affiliated to DU so the admissions were done on the du site, although it was simple to make an ID and enroll the process took a lot of time as DU used to take a gap of 1 week in declaring cutoff list , it was due to this I lost the opportunity to enroll into other colleges but in the end, it was worth the wait

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams Wes conducted once a semester ie only the final exams were conducted. The exams pattern was simple, the paper used to contain 6 questions out of which we only had to answer 4 , but teachers used to set really tough papers as we had open book exams due to pandemic, but in the end teachers did very lenient checking and all most all of the students passed, but I guess this time was an exception due to online mode of examination, I am yet to face an offline exam.

Placement Experience

The placements are average in arsd , more then 50%students get placements every year and the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA and the highest package is around 12 to 14 LPA , many globally recognized companies come for placements and offer great packages, it's up to us how well we can perform and get the job

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing BCom hons and the course is one of the most expensive course my college offers still the annual fees is just around 12000 if you include the exzam fees which I had to pay twice in one year then It would be around 13000, the course is so affordable because arsd Is a government college , if we compare it to private college like christ university which charges around 150000 to 200000 for the same course and value the course looks even more affordable, this is the reason why I am giving it a 10 star

Campus Life

The college offers many extracurricular activities as it conducts a lot of webinars, there are many societies in the college from nss , NCC to ecell and enactus all of these societies give ample opportunities to there members and help in the overall development of there character, all of these things make the college life more enjoyable, on the other hand, I have not experienced any of the other campus life amenities due to the online mode of education so I'll deduct 5 stars for that, thankyou corona

WHY SHOULD OPT FOR DU COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management,ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons. My Experience at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College

I applied for all colleges in Delhi University. I got accepted into Delhi college of arts and Commerce, and then later got upgrade to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. I did not apply to any other university. I wanted to get selected into a North Campus college, but my score was not enough for it. The only way to get admitted into a delhi University college is through CUET, in which I scored 815/1000 (96.5%ile) after which I got admitted into ARSD. My growth journey in ARSD

I chose Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College because of its academic reputation and mainly its nirf ranking . Compared to other colleges i applied to, ARSD offered a abetter academic environment and experienced faculty. I applied to other colleges such as Hindu, Hansraj and Kirori Mal college but but admission confirmation came only from ARSD mainly due to high competition and high cutoff in CUET UG where even a minute difference in exams create a change in the seat allocation.
