Remarks

The entire admission process was online using a Delhi University Portal. A Cutoff schedule was released by notification and that was adhered to in the entire process. I applied to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College in the third cut-off list. After the verification of my documents from the conveyor and the principa,l I received the payment link and I paid the amount mentioned (INR 12435) as my first-year fees. The process was smooth and even if issues were faced, they were answered by the DU Helpline promptly.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am pursuing Bachelors of Commerce (Hons) program because I always had a keen interest in the field of commerce, finance, and accounting. This degree provides in-depth knowledge about the commerce world and builds a stronghold of the individual over the discipline of economics. My college has a separate commerce department and building. The faculty is engaging and knowledgeable. They are great mentors! Most of the teachers are Doctorate Degree holders and the classes are very enriching. Interactive techniques like open discussions are used extensively. The resources, questions and notes provided are a huge aid during the learning process. This year the first semester examinations were Open Book Examinations. They were of moderate difficulty but if the student had deep knowledge about the topics then it was a cakewalk. Semester 2, however, is an assignment-based exam, which is supposed to be comparatively easier. I am yet to appear for it.

Internships Opportunities

Major recruiters The Policy Times, Bajaj Capital, iFortis, Orad and more. Profiles offered a expanded over International marketing, Consulting, Business development, sales and marketing, finance, Human Resource and more. The internship Report was above satisfactory. The placement cell is striving to work harder and better for providing valuable internship and placement opportunities to students every year.

Placement Experience

5

The placement cell is quite active. The highest package was INR 12,00,000. 145+ offers were rolled by 30+ recruiters. The median package was INR 5,00,000 and average package was INR 5,23,000. Major recruiters were KPMG Deloitte, Wipto, Byjus, Yamaha and more. 42.4%, 28.8% and 28.8% were the percentages of students placed from the commerce, arts and science fields respectively. Students from the 5th semester were eligible for campus placements but internships were offered to students from all semesters. Internship report 2020-21 suggests 47 recruiters, 244 offers rolled and highest stipend of INR 15,000 per month. Major recruiters were Bajaj Capital, iFortis Unnati and more. I plan to pursue a Masters in Business Administration in the finance discipline in the coming years. But, I am exploring a good placement opportunity as of now for Curriculum Vitae and personality development. I aspire to be a Certified Financial Analyst charter holder in future and Atma Ram College is aiding me.

The Annual Cultural Festival TIDE was held in 2020 previously. It was a successful 3-day event with debates, songs, photography, band night, solo dances, street dances, fashion shows and more. The Students' Union along with the cultural society presented the fest and it was a huge success and a joy to attend as stated by the audience. The college library functions as a resource centre with about 1,10,000 books and journals that are up to date as per interests of the students. The classrooms are fully air conditioned with smart boards and comfortable benches. The college provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. It has a cricket field, basketball, volleyball and badminton courts. It also provides indoor games like table tennis, carom and chess. An open air gym provides a facility to students to shape their bodies and maintain good health. The Enactus ARSD is an internally recognized student body. Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject. The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management, ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable
