The college administration is quite strict and our college is famous for discipline, the one word which describes our college.

I took JEE MAINS 2014 and WBJEE 2014. I scored 138 in JEE MAINS and got around 58000 rank. In wbjee I secured 3396 rank. I took admission in IEM, KOLKATA as it is the best private college in eastern india(including west bengal). I tried for jadavpur university but I did not get Mechanical Engineering there.

Here in IEM I am studying in 3rd year. Right from the first year, the focus was not only in academics but also on research. Many events like robotics,solar vehicle,cloud computing and research paper presentations publiushed in renowned journels like IEEE.

Yes, the companies which came are- 1. CTS 2. WIPRO 3. SANKALP SEMICONDUCTORS 4. CAP GEMINI 5. INFOSYS 6.MAHINDRA GROUP and the stipened was around 10k indian rupees.

IEM,kolkata provides 100 percent placement. almost 900 students were placed last year. the companies which came are- 1. CTS 2. WIPRO 3. SANKALP SEMICONDUCTORS 4. CAP GEMINI 5. INFOSYS 6.MAHINDRA GROUP and the average package was around 3.5 lakhs.

1. IEM OPTRONIX 2. TAAPMAAN 3. ASSE(American society of safetyb engineers INDIA chapter) 4. Techno Management festival INNOVACION 5. IEMCON the participation is tremendous in making these events a huge success.

The fee structure is around INR 40,000 per semester.

I simply took loan from the bank in my hometown. Besides the college also provides loan in collabration with the banks.

There are lots of extracurricular avtivities like sports, quizes, debate etc. The gender ratio is even. but in our branch ME there are quite few girls. the seniors are very cooperative.

The hostel facilities are not up to the mark.

Our college has one of the strongest alumni network.

The exams and labs are very frequent and obviously there is some pressure.

Many faculties are from IIT's, JU and from other renowned institutes with loads of experience. their intensity in teaching is inspiring us and their guidence is very important to us.
