Course is mostly theory oriented though practical labs are a part. Electives include Data mining,computer hardware and networking

No internship facility provided by the college.

There is a well established Career guidance unit for placements and almost 80% of the students passing out are placed under campus recruitment.

College Events

Every year there will be internal cultural fest yavanika and technical fest as well as intra college fest yagna Druva. I had participated in c game which is like quiz followed by some coding in C language and paper presentation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes,fee waiver is offered for students who gets admitted by good entrance rank. A scholarship of rs.10000 per year for academically excellent and financially backward students

Campus Life

Ours was a women's college,so no need to talk about gender diversity.every year,there used to be a sports day with lot of competitions and a union day with cultural events which is really colourful

Hostel Facilities

There was no college hostel.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumini meet every year,and they helps financially for the improvement of career guidance unit and for enabling more companies to visit the campus

Exam Structure

First 2 years,it is well manageable with exams,practicals etc. And later on there will be seminar, mini project and main project along with the internal exams, university exams and lab exams

Faculty

There are professors who have wide knowledge on what they teach,At the same time, guest lecturers are not up to the mark

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Reality of College life

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation .
