Good placement, faculty, Admission is done through JEE mains. The cutoff for CSE branch is generally high. U can expect cutoff above 90 percentile for general category. It's a good college. It worth your money. If u didn't get any IIT Or NIT then thapar worth it. It's a good reputed private college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty to students ratio is 1:30 Or maybe 1:60. Most of the faculty have done Phd in their respective fields. They all are trained and qualified professor, keen to help students. Teaching method is good including all practicals, lab work, presentation, speaking. There are two exams in a particular semester: mid term and end term. Apart from that there are sessionals, viva and quiz around every other week. It's not as such difficult but u need to work hard as all that matters is CGPA.
Placement Experience
In third year people are given internship and are employed there if do well in same company a year later. Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, are few of the company visiting. There are almost 200+ companies coming and recruiting from every branch. Though highest placed members are from CSE branch. The maximum package was 41.6 lakh by Microsoft backed by two students.
College Events
There is quite friendly relationship with all. No ragging is there in fact everyone helps each other to grow and learn. There are various societies which offer numerous opportunities to avail. Annual. Fest are held moreover special guest are invited to perform on occasions. Guest like any celebrity or any comedian. Overall it helps to inculcate new habits and ideas.
Campus Life
It's fully Wi-Fi campus, library facilities 24*7, equipment are well managed. Have various options to play any sports. Library is three floor with large number of copies of each book. U can go anytime but remember to return the book on time. The arrangement to sit and read is quite awesome. Apart from that there is a Canteen which operates whole time and food can be eaten there. College support every player and sport. If u have that ability u r supported and they make u a good player. Have every new opportunity to learn and grow as a team.
Hostel Facilities
Food is good, rooms are awesome with AC facilities and Non -ac room. Washroom are clean. Silence is there. Freedom to move and live freely. During ur admission u need to tell if u want hostel Or not.
