The college is of good reputation and is a police academy under the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college provides many police administration long term and short term courses and two professional courses namely, M.A and M.Phil. Overall, the college is good choice for anyone interested in the course.

Course structure was pretty decent and similar to other colleges under Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The course consists of research oriented subjects as well , and focuses on application. The labs are nicely built and and available for students anytime.

The infrastructure is well built and has a lot of facilities for its students. The college has an Administrative Complex, a Officers Mess, Electronic Cell and many other facilities like Hostel for comfortable and smooth experience for the students.

The college has hostel facility. The campus has a fun and dedicating environment and so is the hostel. The hostel is a fun place and strict schedule is followed in the hostel. the college do provide other excellent facilities like Library and Swimming Pool.

The college is affiliated by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The university holds an entrance exam and the admission is done on the merit basis of the rank secured. The student must register for the entrance exam for the admission.

The faculty of the college is highly qualified and helpful. The teachers are friendly and ready to help the students in need. Some of the teachers are strict however every teacher is really committed to help the students.
