Government Brijindra College Faridkot: Fees, Admission 2025, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

I have applied to Panjab University, Chandigarh and S.D college, Ludhiana. I have got admission confirmed in both the colleges/ university. But in Panjab University Chandigarh campus there are many loopholes as in evening department there is lack of proper study and in S.D college there is lack of good infrastructure and hostel faculty is not affordable. In the Brijindra College, admission process is very simple. You just have to apply online form of punjabi University, Patiala and then based on Merit you will be offering the seat , where you want to apply. Eligibilty for the bachelor course is mainly +2 . It depends on which subjects who have studied in +2. Most preferred course by students is B.A, B.SC agriculture, Bcom. When the student get its name in merit list, they can continue there admission process by paying required amount online to the university.

I choosed particularly this college because of it's low fees and moreover, it was near to my home. I have not applied to other colleges as this was only college available in my hometown for my desired stream of graduation.

The admission was through a merit list of 12th marks. You can go to the Punjab admission portal and select this. The cutoff this time in this college was 90 percent. The reservation of OBC, SC, and ST is available.

The eligibility criteria is compulsory to pass the matriculation examination with atleast 70 percent marks from any board and the admission criteria is firstly you have to register online on government official website and upload your documents then college make a merit list based on your previous years marks

The eligibility for the B.Com course is 10+2 with commerce and the college could not take any entrance test the admission is on a percentage basis which students get in their 10+2 exams. Due to a shortage of seats, the cutoff for the general category is 85% and for the Reserved category, it may be 80%. The application form for admission is online and you can pay fees online and offline also. The application started in the first week of June. For reservation, you have a certificate of your reserved category authorized by the proper authority. The admission process is simple but have improved their website because sometimes that was not worked properly.

Eligibility for the course is a minimum of 80% in class +2. The application form, application fees all facilities are available online at the college portal. It's all good about college. college infrastructure and canteen facilities, library all are fine. Discipline in college is also appreciated.

My rank was 158th on the counselling list. I hadn't availed any quota. There were about 300 students who had come to attend the counselling. Mr Raghu was my counsellor. Firstly he verified all my documents. He was extremely helpful, polite and professional in his interactions with me. He was really very patient and understanding regarding the slightest of my doubts. Overall it was a good experience for me.

I am from the general category and I didn't avail any quota. Admission was based on the merit score of the 12th class. The counseling was held offline and there were about 3000 students who appeared for the counseling. Certificates and other ID proofs were verified. The teachers were very polite and proper arrangement was made for sitting.

I chosen this course because want to go to teacher line with math and economics stream. The class is of 100 students and teaching method by the teacher is so good they teach like a friendly nature and there's are monthly tests and exams in end of semester and after that there are final exams. It's not very much difficult and not too easy to pass.

Only bad remarks for the college is their placement. Apart from that, it will provide a student with everything.
