Remarks

Infrastructure is very good. Environment is more natural than any other institute. There are 28 lakes. The class rooms are net and clean. Our college is against of use plastics. Every where you can find dastbin.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a first year b.tech student of NITSilchar. Now my department is Electronic and Communication engineering. This course is very helpful to get the job at any it sectors. I joined b.tech because i like engineering.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunity of my college is very good. now this year from ece 96% students placed for job. Now this year the highest package got from ECE. Yes my college provides internship. And more than 100 company comes here for interview.

College Events

The events celebration is awesome. In my college there are two college fest. One is technomanagement fest and second one is cultural fest. In those two fest verious types of events organised by our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is more expensive for general. But at the end of your college life you will get a job it is confirmed. So fees structure doesn't matter. Hostel and academic fees are seperate. If you have category so that you can get concession.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a central government institutions so that you can get lone for this institution. After you get your loan you have to pay the fees. And fees infrastructure is quite good. Loan facility is available in my college.

Campus Life

No doubts about extracurricular activities. There are quite good labs. There are so many helpful things in labs. Let's talk about sports there is a gym and two separate ground for cricket and football. There is a quiet big auditorium.

Hostel Facilities

I opted hostel. Hostel infrastructure is very nice and more natural. The floor are fully marbled. There are seperate hostel for seperate batch. Girls hostel and boys hostel seperate. One more things the food quality is very good.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Let's talk about senior. they're very helpful. This institution is fully against of anti ragging. Every where if you contact with any senior he or she will always help you. About study or sports or events they will help you always.

Admission

After cleaning JEE Main i got admission. JEE main is a all india based entrance examination to get admission in NITs or IIITs or Other government founded technical institute. After cleaning this examination you have to choose your college according to your rank.

Faculty

The faculty of my college is very helpful. Now my college is a autonomous college. What ever they teaches us in class and whatever they gives us notes study those well. And you can archive more than 8 cgpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

NIT Silchar Review: Campus, Career and Career Prospects

Placement Experience:

NIT Silchar has decent placement stat. Approx 75 percent student got placement from campus and they got decent package. In NIT Silchar from 7th semester students are eligible for placement and company comes whole year for recruiting. Approx 100 company visit the college throughout the year. In tech Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart and more companies come. For core L&T, Adani, Tata Steel and more companies come. For service base Infosys, TCS, Wipro will come and give good offer. Highest package will come from tech company and that is 52lpa and average from all companies will lie from 10 to 12 lpa . My plans is that in my 4th year atleast I will get one job. If I don't get job then I will try from off campus or giving paper for government job

"Genuine Review of BCA at ADP College: Good Faculty but Average Placements"

Placement Experience:

"To be honest, the campus placement at ADP College is average. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Since this is a general degree college, we don't see very big tech giants visiting frequently. Mostly, students try for off-campus drives like TCS Smart Hiring or Wipro WILP. Some local IT firms and agencies from Nagaon and Guwahati also visit the campus. The average salary package is around 1.8 Lakhs to 2.5 Lakhs per annum. The highest package usually goes up to 3 Lakhs. Around 30% to 40% of students get placed, mostly in roles like Junior Developer, System Support, or BPO sectors. Many students prefer to go for higher studies instead of taking these jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer. And in future I want to be a developer so opt this integrated cource that will complete by BSC and MSC in one go . The respected teachers and senior will also help me in my difficulties as well . The and internships that are provided will also work as a part of experience . The learning experience will be much better then every classrooms are provided with smartboards . AC will be also a good option as the students have to travel for 1hr in bus before the class starts . The semester happens twice every year and 2-3 internals are conducted as well before each semester. Though the exams aren't that hard as it is mostly based on classwork.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it

I get this college after qualifying jee mains exam through josaa counselling. I want NIT Durgapur but I miss out by only 1500 rank . Before NIT Silchar I get NIT patna civil engineering in first round of counselling but due to better placement stat and campus I choose this one . My admission process is very smooth where the help desk counter and senior help new comer. On my admission day I also get my scholarship id i.e, roll no. Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

I chose this college mainly due to its large campus and facilites and decent placements. This college has a great alumni network and has the best clubs and societies among top colleges and also organises one of the best fests. I could have got a better college but my rank didn't allow me to secure admission into the top ones. Our college only accepts JEE Mains score as the admission criteria. I chose this college as NIT Silchar is an allrounder package, you want academics? Done! Fest? Done!! Every wing is awesome. From the very first being in my home state, it was the best college I can opt for after IIT Guwahati. I did got offers from other colleges government and semi, but NITS gave me my favourite branch and secured future. This college has a great placement records in PSUs for core branches and great IT sector companies for other branches. After jossa I applied in different nits as per my rank I got electrical Engineering department. NIT Silchar is one of the prestigious nits. As per nirf ranking it comes under 7th ranking.
