Entrance Preview

Gate exam I given in 2013. After I qualify gate score I. E. 38 I apply for SPIT as it have its own value and also placement record of this particular college was good.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was overall good access. College have a good library and college follows the PPT structure many times also it focus on the practical section. I think it was long survey. I don't know why it takes 250 minimum characters.

Internships Opportunities

Nope they didn't provide any internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's just above 1lakh per yr.

Exam Structure

We have class test which was ones in 3 months for every subject we have 2 test in six month and it is mandatory to score more than 8 average.

Here's placements team is very active for students. In our department placement is good. The student did preparation for placement after the first semester. And most of the students got placed in the third semester of master's Student.

Remarks:

The college is the topmost college. It got a nice campus, nice teachers, there were good positive vibes for students. The only drawback is that the number of students are so much. The admission should be reduced by making other branches.

I had applied to DJ sanghvi, VJTI and COEO,pune. Out of these I made the cut for DJ sanghvi but kept SPIT over it because of the reputation and placement records it holds. Also the fees were less. I couldn't get computer branch in VJTI and COEO due to their high cutoff. Mostly students take admission after clearing MHTCET exam with good rank. But some of the seats are reserved for the JEE mains students. The cutoff for that is high too....Read More

Did SPIT worth it??

To take admission in this college you have to score good rank in mht vet exam after that you can apply through cap portal of Maharashtra government website and you get allocated through cap round and once you freeze the college you will be provide date to submit your documents and pay fees and then you will be admitted and you have to search for accomodation on your own as the accommodation provided by college is too costly for average middle class students....Read More
