Remarks
It's a government college and affordable too as you can get admission in it by getting 30-60k rank in jee main. Its counseling is done by JAC Chandigarh. Its placement is not too good enough as only 50-60% of students got placed with the highest package of 15 lakhs and average around 6 lakhs. You can prefer this college if you are willing for further studies. Infrastructure is good and the college is spending its fund to improve it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are good here and they will guide you too.But you can't rely fully on them as i think that they are not giving their all. Even faculty students ratio is 1:70 so it's you can imagine the situation. Most of the faculties are qualified from PU here. I'm from the CSE branch and I choose it because it's a rising sector and demand for the future too.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, off-campus internships are available here and if you want to do them on your own you can. College didn't give you special leave for this so you can do this on your vacations. As everyone says last sem is all about internships so their college gives you opportunities and placement cells are here to help you.
Placement Experience
Placements here are not so good as only 50-60% of student got placed in CSE branch with the highest package of 15 lakhs and average around 6 lakhs so didn't expect too much if you are here for this. It will be the best choice if you planning for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure here is so on.- 30k to 35k per semester and it will take around 4 lakhs upto your whole btech .scholarships provided here that top 3 students of every year will get 100% fee off. You can get graduated free if you want.
Campus Life
The campus here is about 32 acres. There are clubs such as dance, photography, drama, etc. Sports and curriculum activities are done here as in all normal nothing much new. There is gound for football, cricket, etc. I didn't know much about the library so I can't help you with this.
Hostel Facilities
There is boys and girls hostel available and PGs are available too. So it's up to you which one you consider. Hostel facilities are good mess food is not so much good so you have to compromise with it.
