Remarks

For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration. The eligibility of course is 4 years for mains students and 3 years for leet students Now the application form and everything became online There is a special reservation for ews students and there are usual reservations for sc st ews sports and army quota

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not so good as it still folkows very old curriculum in which there are no modern computer languages like java and python. The faculty is fine that they will help if you need. They are not strict they will be friendly with you. But not all faculty are well talented. The faculty student ration is approximately 3:70. The exams will monthly once and they are very wasy to pass.

Placement Experience

Almost everyone who cleared all the exams got a placement atleast basic placement of 3.5LPA. The placements are increasing every year and recent they are good the average placement is nearly 7LPA for CSE branch which is almost for tier 2 college. 90 percent of students got placement but only 70 percent took it remaining had their plans. My plan is to work in a job for atleast 2 years and then do higher studies in my field.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the college is government so the fee is very less but comparatively more than other government colleges from other states but still it is fine. Tge college fee is 70k per year including everything. You can get merit scholarship I would sat it is waste as they give you your scholarship amount after 3 years of completing the course and there is a big procedure to take it. They dont give scholarship very easily.

Campus Life

As I joined in corona time we didn't had any fest from the starting so I don't know munch about that. The clubs are good we have 6 clubs for different activities and the clubs give you chance to make friends and interact with seniors. But there is no funding for the clubs which should be according to norms so you can say like there are clubs but there is no finding from college but they are acrive and good to join.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is not so good but for that cost it is better. The cost of the hostel is 4k per year which is so much less given the location of the college. The food service is separate from the hostel fee and it is under the college administration so they did some scam and kept very high food rate which is almost 4k per month and even the food os not upto the level as the cost is so much morw.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Its more than an average decent college you can surely come here.

Placement Experience:

You can appear for placements starting from 7th semester onwards plus you can apply yourself as well to various off-campus opportunities. The companies which visit are decent i would say including the likes of Amazon, Deloitte, Hero came as well few years ago for mechanical engineers. Around 50-60 decent companies visit the college for placement with around 300 job offers with the highest package around 41 lpa which was off campus probably but Amazon could give upto 25-30 lpa i guess, The average package would be around 7 lpa i guess but its gonna improve year by year. If you are in CSE or IT you are most chilled with around 80% placements, in ECE as well there are decent placements but after that you have to study really well to get placed But you can always do a lot of things after getting your degree.

Remarks:

I chose this because of the brand of Panjab University. Plus you get a lot of exposure of Chandigarh and there are a lot of opportunities there based on your field, even better than Delhi. Plus you never get distracted in Chandigarh because of the reason that people are too much work and ethics focused. Also, the level of knowledge the teachers have in my college is just great.

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily.
