CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

The curriculum is okayish. It includes all the basics and important elements needed for engineering. But it can improve a lot by introducing new methods and technologies. The curriculum must focus more on practical implementation and modern approach

Internships are decent here companies come and interview one. And if selected he has to do internship in the 8th semester and if the company likes him they will give him a PPO. But during the course internships are to be done by oneself only

Students get eligible for placements from 7th semester and almost 35-38 companies visit here. And more than 150 offers are made. Highest package offered is around 15 LPA and lowest around 3-3.5 LPA. Almost 80% of eligible students get placed.

The fee structure is like this: Odd semester: 35700(including hostel fee:2200) Even semester: 30800(including hostel fee 2200) And the hostel mess fee have to be paid monthly There are not much hidden costs excluding your printouts and daily necessities. There are almost all scholarships through NSP are available and for J&K students PMSSS is also available. Placements here are decent ECE and CSE gets placed almost if you have prepared and done some coding. The average package is 6LPA

There are almost all Important clubs available here in CCET. Drama ,Dance,Music, Art, literature ,debate,etc. There is an annual Techno Cultural fest here in CCET named as 'Apratim' which is held in the month of October- November. The library has a large number of books which help students academically. The sports and extra curricular activities are also decent. Inter College and inter year tournaments and Even recently sports meet was held in our college

Beds,Tables & Almirah are provided for students in Hostel rooms. The food quality is decent and the menu is also decent. Not that good nor that bad. The hostels can be registered through filling a form from the warden or caretaker at the beginning of a semester. The hostel is quite affordable with a yearly fee of 4400 only.

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. One can avail reservations like ST,SC,EWS,Tuition fee waiver,etc. The cutoffs are somewhat decent. I had 109000 rank and got ECE here

Teachers here are highly qualified and are further studying. Teachers here are appointed through UPSC. Teachers are interactive and are helpful when needed. Ofcourse there are some teachers who are rude and arrogant but we can't do anything.
