The academic calendar of Punjab University Chandigarh is kind of very vast. Hair there are total 2 mid semesters and then one final exam at the end of the semester there is a choice given to you you can attempt both the mid semesters for anyone with semester according to you and according to the marks that you are got the best marks will be counted. There is a credit system also in our college there are total 44 katered and you have to achieve at least 50% of the total credits in a year if you will not achieve that then you will be given year back. It subject has different credit score if by chance you failed in any subject then you have to give the supply exam in the another semester.

Honestly the college provides a lot of internships opportunities to all the students in the college we have a WhatsApp group of our class we are many internships program messages and links of provided by the teachers or by the CR of the class some internships are paids and summer and bed but the best part of these internship programs are that they will boost your skills and knowledge that will help you when you will set in the placement in the fourth year of the college so in short there and many opportunities for internships in the college so I'll recommend you to don't miss the chance.

I will only talk about computer science engineering and electronics engineering branch placements because other branches get some placements but not very good as compared to these two branches if you are a CSE student in this college then the average package for CSC is 8 to 10 lakhs and if you have some other skills the placement will be very good recently. Recently the highest package of a colleges 32 lakhs this was in campus placement the of compass placement is around 1.2 crore internationally if you are an electronic student here then there is packages 7 to 8 lacs it totally depends on your skills and your extra curricular activities that will help you to get a good placement from this college also there are many internships summer paid summer unpaid internship that are provided by the college in which you can apply and boshe your skills.

The fees for every semester is approx 30 to 35000 that includes hostel fees academic fees exam fees. If you will be in top 3 in the class then the college will provide you 100% scholarship and my opinion the fees of are college is very less as compared to other Government colleges and institutes that are located in Chandigarh or in other big cities. The best part of pieces that the fees for one semester of postal is approx 2200 that includes your room rent wi-fi service security etc for mess you have to pay approx 2500 per month that also very affordable so over all it's a good college with a decent amount of fees.

I have mentioned before also that there are 7 clubs in my college for the students who have interest in music acting robotics editing photography dance etc we also participate in many competitions that are hosted by various IITs in India we go to many IIT fests like IIT Bombay IIT Delhi IIT Roorkee etc. various workshop are conducted in a week for a month for different clubs in the college apratim is the fest of our College. The best part I like is wherever we go for the competition we have always won it. There is a annual sports meet also that is posted by our college in which there are various sports competitions conducted.

There are total to hostels in our college Ganesh for boys and one is for girls honestly as a hostel I will say that in boys hostel, your face some issues regarding hygiene and well maintenance the mess food is okay you will get proper Wi-Fi connection through out the day the curfew time for boys is 10 p.m. and for girls it's 9:00 p.m. for girls I will say they get better facilities as compared to boils there's a dream also and girls hostel accepted bathroom is also provided in the girls hostel whereas where the common bathroom for washroom and Forbes in boys hostel but the best part is that all the washroom has been renovated now so now they are in proper condition there is a park also in a boys hostel where we can play different games like cricket football etc.

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college.

Faculty members are good. Some are so chill regarding your marks and attendance. But as a second year CSE student, I'll suggest you to maintain your attendance from second year onwards. There's no issue regarding attendance in the first year. But from second year, you have to be strict regarding that. The best part I love about all the faculty members is that if you are planning to take further education like M.Tech from foreign countries then here, professors have a lot of their contacts in other countries so it will be a little easy for you.
