Remarks

Infrastructure can be improved. Undoubtedly it has been improved a lot from past years but there is a scope of improvement . The faculty is very supportive and knowledgeable, ready to help their students in every situation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculam is well versed with good practical knowledge required for the engineering students to understand the concepts much better. Practical Concepts need to be added so as to increase interest on students.

Internships Opportunities

No, internships are not provided in the college. Students are allowed to go for summer and six months internships so as to gain experience and increase knowledge. Evaluation takes place in college after the completion of internship.

Placement Experience

3

Placements and job opportunities are good, also improved a lot. But there is a scope for improvement in terms of packages. And also there must be an eligibility criteria on the basis of not only marks whereas on all grounds.

College Events

3.5

There are many events celebrated. The main event is APRATIM fest in which different colleges take part in number of events. There are many clubs as mentioned whose events take place weekly or monthly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and quite Affordable by all the students. In fact the hostel and food facility is also affordable by all. In comparison to many private colleges, the fee structure is quite feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of the same. But yes scholarship is provided by the university and the state government. The state government provide scholarship to the deserving students. And also university does the same. No separate scholarship from college end as per my knowledge.

Campus Life

3.5

Sports section can be improved. Labs have high end equipments to increase practical knowledge. Extra curricular activities include fests plus the clubs for eg Beatles (dance club), music club, debate club, modelling, bhangra ( PBN).

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Still needs improvement in terms of infra and facilities. There are many things that are improved for eg safety for girls, security, food. But there is still scope of improvement according to the coming generation.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is somewhat weak.. The present network is undoubtedly helpful but network needs to be established at a higher end. The contact with alumni needs to build up so as to increase awareness among juniors about the coming opportunities.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is competitive and also comfortable. In which 2 sessionals are there. And one main final exam including practicaL assessment. One sessionals from 2 is compulsory and there are qualifying marks for both sessionals and finals.

Admission

Entrance exam-IIT mains plus 12th board exam results gave all India rank which made eligible for JAC (joint admission counselling) . Colleges under JAC- PEC, UIET, CCET, UICET, UIET hoshiarpur. During counselling got a seat in CCET for electronics and communication engineering.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of college is very supportive in terms of helping students to increase understanding of concepts. Quite knowledgeable and ready to help students In every situation. Also encourage them to participate in extra curricular.

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.
