Remarks

The admission process was pretty hassle full and a lot of time taking.Need to fulfill admission criteria of minimum 60% marks.There ws not councelling occurred for me,but for other students it did.Teachers were pretty descent and helpful.Students were not much friendly and most of the students didn't intended to study there.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course due to my immense interest in Computer science engineering. The faculty is pretty descent,if there are 50 students per class, number of faculty staff would be around 2.They were pretty descent qualified and teaching method was pretty appreciable.Exams used to occur almost with gap of 2 months and weren't very difficult.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is suitable for all kind of people. It's pretty affordable and worth it's facilities.I got the Job as a Software developer in Computer Science Engineering and Got got almost 5K rs as stipend.

Campus Life

Good.The annual and monthly fests were Enjoyable and Appreciated by all the students.The library had wide variety of books and generals categorised in different categories like Finance,Self improvement, relationship etc.Sports activities used to happen very occasionally and not that much good in all terms.

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

Placement Experience:

For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

PEC from a student's lens

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Ground Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

The admission process was very time-consuming as it lasted for more than a month but it was ok and the admissions are based on JEE mains all india rank score. Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. Better college for 50k rank in mains

For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
