Remarks

IIM C is well equipped with modern amenities, which makes it a world class institute. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms and hostels. State of the art library, on call medical facility, a fully equipped gym, wooden floored badminton court, tennis court and basketball court are present. The food quality is good and the hygiene part is taken care of(if you love Bengali cuisine, you are definitely going to love it).

Course Curriculum Overview

Top class faculty. They were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very hectic and you will not get a breather. 2-year program curriculum is covered in 1 year including internship and industry tour (including a 2-week japan visit).

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements were good. The only thing to remember is that background work experience matters a lot and stick to it. 90% students were placed. 15-20 LPA was the range. IT, consulting, manufacturing and e-commerce were the major sectors. It's mandatory to do an internship with this program. Internship interviews will also be conducted by the institute. Internship stipend ranges from 50K to 25K.

College Events

The college has an amazing blend of infrastructure and placements. The college has an immense involvement in getting students to learn with practical applications. The college has a great exposure with the experience of a learned faculty. The project work the student undergoes is world class. The learning here is out of the box. Each and every day, the students fetches new knowledge with an utmost real pressure of the industry. The fun in the campus is amazing.

The eligibility for this course is having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 55% of marks and then the cut off for CAT exam varies from student to student. They calculate the composite scores for every student considering different factors like academic background, work experience, gender diversity, past academics, etc. I would recommend that the institute should have a fair shortlisting criteria which should be disclosed to everyone because I saw people topping the CAT exam still not getting calls from institute because of their strict criteria especially for general engineer male....Read More
