Course Curriculum Overview
This curriculum is based on applied science. It has been use in daily life in society. So I choose this course. This curriculum prepares me to understand the basics and advance technology and science for scientific crop growing. More fieldwork and on-field studies will improve the curriculum. and teachers should teach in practical and reality-based teaching techniques. There are 8 semesters in this course. Each semester is of 6-month duration. In each semester we have to give one Midterm exam, one End term exam and a Practical evaluation for each course in the semester. Difficulty level is average.
Internships Opportunities
We don't get any internship from any company but we do the same as Internship in where and with which topic we are assigned to do some work by the university. Examples of some projects done by students are: making of Fruits juice, Squash, Jam, Jelly, Sauce Marketing and selling them. Making some cost-benefit charts for various crop cultivation, and interraction with Farmers in villages and urban areas.
Placement Experience
From 7th and 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies: Syngenta, Pradaan (NGO) etc. visited the campus for placements. Highest package 9.5-10 lac Average package 5 lac 10-15% students get on campus placement. I plan to do higher studies after getting degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Tution fees are increasing every year or in alternate years. Now the course fees per semester is reached about 12-14k. The complete cost of education is more or less 1lac. There are many govt and private scholarships available. I'm getting 18k per year from the SVMCM scholarship. I don't know much about Campus employment.
Campus Life
Annual festival: Nabarun (every year around dec-jan month) Naihati is the name of social. It happens almost every year or alternate years. Every year annual sports happen. In hostels, some tournaments are also organised yearly. Every year Inter year Cricket, Football and Volleyball tournaments are also organised by the administrative authority.

There are enough light, ceiling fan, table chair, book self and bed provide for each student in a room. Per room accommodate 3 students in boys hostel and r students in girls hostel. Meal quality is average. The menu is not fixed as the mess is run by the students. Registration can be done during admission. And the hostel facility is very much affordable. I didn't rent room or PG but lots of rented rooms and PG is available in this locality. Many of my friends live in PG near the campus.
