Agriculture jobs are well paid Food and fabrics, paper and construction materials — these are all products of agricultural efforts. Thus, it is not surprising that people working in this industry have the opportunity to earn high salaries that reflect the significance of their work. 1 professor guid 30 students. Professor are well qualified and holding PhD. Degree. 1 semester going for 6 month and moderate exam pattern

Placement Experience

From Last semester mean eight semester students are eligible for placement. Syngenta private limited, IFFCO, PRADAN visited our university and select 63 student and give them proper placement. 8 lakhs height placement and average is 3 to 4 lakhs. About 67% students get placement. I want to get Master in Agriculture science

Fees and Financial Aid

13000 rs for a year which includes 2 semester. For complete degree of 4 year approximately 60000 rs is required. West Bengal Talent Support Stipend Programme,West Bengal Merit Cum Means Scholarship, and Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship is available.

Campus Life

Nhoirit is our social, but also nobarun fresher welcom , nisorgo farewell etc is our cultural program. BCKV megazin, social life of BCKV and lots of subject related books are there in our central library. Smar class room facilities available in our campus. All India national sports ar inter year sports are organised. BCKV social committee is our cultural club name

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are quite large for living and studying and we'll equipped with furnitures like table, chair , bed , rack etc. Meals are hygienic and very tasty and delicious. For hostel registration we have to apply first to the authority. There are lots of PG available at Mohanpur and Jaguli.

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Admission

10+2 pass in science, along with biology, chemistry and physics. There is marks basis merit list, according to the rank of board number admission process going on. There is 25% reserved seats fo sedule cast and Also 15% for sedule tribe .

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate. A score above 95% in the board exam or crack the ICAR AIEEA UG Exam with a good depth of biology and chemistry for admission....Read More
