The behaviour of teacher and the non teaching staffs
The availability of huge amount of books in the central library
The delicious food of histel mess and hostel friends

Dislikes

Min 10 subjects per semester and huge syllabus
Long classes from 7am to 5pm daily is so boring
Unavailability of free wifi in campus or hostels

The duration of the course is 4 year All the teachers completed their phd and are joined as various research programs The term exams are not so difficult the questions came from the class notes given by the professors and the discussion given by the professors in the class

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees is approximately 10k per semester and one can apply for scholarships Such as SVCM, Vidyasagar, GB Birla etc. campus jibs are so poor but at present sime companies are interested for the campus placement

The fresher's programme is called 'Nabarun' The social programme is called Naihrit And the farewell is called 'Nisharga' Central library Gymnasium Central ground 2 ponds are available The hostel life is amazing here

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is great Aprox all the students get hostel facility here 3 student per room is given the mess food is so good 4 grands( Special menu) are given in one month... But the Toilets are not so so clean

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The admission is completely based in the number of 12th board exam 12+ course SC,ST, OBC-A,B reservation available The money is collected through cash only It should be collected in online mode also. Some requirement of teacher is necessary in some depertment

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

Syngenta private limited, IFFCO, PRADAN visited our university and select 63 student and give them proper placement. 8 lakhs height placement and average is 3 to 4 lakhs. The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

All About Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (BCKV), main campus, Mohanpur, Nadia

Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate. A score above 95% in the board exam or crack the ICAR AIEEA UG Exam with a good depth of biology and chemistry for admission....Read More
