Remarks

I got into this collage based on 12th marks and merit list . I availed OBC quota for addmission. For addmission the college required 60% marks on bord exam for general students and 50% marks for SC , ST , OBC students.

I chose this course because I find my passion in this subject. Best course combination with all fields of agriculture. I've elective of speed production techniques which i was thought to produce better quality seeds

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable . The fees for classes and Labratory work is minimal . The yearly fees ?40000 . They also provide scholarships. The college send the students in station by their own expensive vehicle.

This is a very peaceful college. Produce best agriculturist other issues are minor here and a good humanity between teachers and students. Debet and other compitition are also arrenged. Library facilities are also good here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

I applied to Surendranath College in department of Zoology. But I didn't take admission in that college because this field of agriculture has better career opportunities than that one. I didn't get rejected from any college. The admission process In my university is very transparent and clear. Any 12th pass candidate with 60% marks or more is eligible to apply. Also anyone can get admission through the all India entrance exam conducted by ICAR. The overall admission experience is very good and clear.
