The eligibility of the course is 12th pass with science subject and get around under 45k rank in WBJEE or Jee main exams. The application form, application fees, and application dates find on the college website. No... Don't have any caste reservations. I didn't need any improvement in the admission.

I choose the course because I am interested in pharmacy-related work and I need a job in a pharmacy company. The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All are with Ph.D. degrees. Their teaching quality is very good. The exam will be held on every semester. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant. Yes, it makes the student industry-ready. If someone studies properly there is not that much difficulty with the semester exams in this college.

75 percent of students got internships from our course and the companies are Hikal Limited Amaze Healthcare Pvt.Ltd, Callidus Research Laboratories, etc. And the roles offered under internships many companies are offer job.

From six semesters students become eligible for campus placements. The highest offer package is 10lakhs and the lowest and average package is 4lakhs. The top recruiting companies for the course is SUN, CIPLA, etc. 80 percent of the total students get placed. After getting the degree of graduation in B PHARMACY I try to get a job in pharmacy companies like also Callidus Research Laboratories Amaze Healthcare Pvt.Ltd, Hikal Limited.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost of graduation in B PHARMACY is around 4.5 lacks. In this course, the student of West Bengal got an SVMCM scholarship and the student outside of West Bengal got NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP.

Campus Life

Hackathon, quad x is the annual fest and tech fest and in the month of January, they are conducted. Our library is enriched with books. Classrooms are beautifully decorated and clean. In front of the college campus, a big ground is available for sports and extracurricular activities. A college social group is available on Facebook.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

IIT KHARGPUR- WORTH IT?

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.
