Remarks

This is an amazing college in my budget and it is also a government college under UT Administration Chandigarh and also it has amazing placement record and good faculty with good facilities. This college is affiliated to Panjab University Chandigarh which is a very good University.

Course Curriculum Overview

Student Teacher ratio is good(don't know exact numbers) their teaching is good and the exams are conducted by Panjab University Chandigarh so level of exam is very decent and of course you get a PU degree after completing the course.

Class Size: 68

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is amazing for CSE. Many companies like Infosys, Gemini,etc visit the college for placement and they give good package to the students.I must say that placement for Mechanical and civil engineering is not good enough.

College Events

There are many events happening in college campus. And there are many clubs in the college and they are always busy.There are two canteen in the college and also the campus live is not that good but it's not that bad also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very less as compared to other colleges in the region (very less).The scholarships are available for many students. 100% for top three students in your class and next three get 50% off on tuition fee. Campus is amazing and placement are also very good.

Hostel Facilities

There are enough hostel for every one. The meal provided is also of good quality. But you have to pay for food extra.Rooms are shared with 2 other people and it contains basic facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

Written test was JEE Mains for admission. Then you have to apply for JAC Chandigarh which conducts the counseling for the college and also for some other colleges of Chandigarh. There are 3-4 rounds in counseling.

Placement are provided by the college and Good offers are made by the companies. Like in cse , ece and ee have good placements but in lower branch percentage placements is a bit lower, but overall average and median package is good ( 70%) Highest placement was 61 lpa of 2025 median was 13 lpa.

PEC life in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
