As it's a Government College. Good placement. Its had almost 100 percent placement for the last 3 years,the infrastructure is good,the number of students are less so we get the full output from our faculties,the location is in Kolkata so it will help to get better opportunities for jobs
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is focused on building up a student to cope up with the competition in the corporate world and also encouraging students towards innovative research ideas. The exams are arranged in a systematic manner and they generally don't make the students go through a hectic schedule.
Placement Experience
Every year a bunch of students get placed in various MNCs(such as TCS, Wipro, Vedanta, Infosys, TRL Krosaki etc. ) as well as startups. It's true for all the three streams(Ceramic technology, Computer science and engineering, Information technology). The training and placement officer of the institution is very effective in his work and plays a vital role in making this happen.
College Events
The gender ratio was odd as mostly were boys. It would 80% boys. The campus life was great as some or the other events we're always going on. The seniors we're cool and we used to play together. Occasional jamming session did lighten our mood. The canteen was always full of vibrance. 2 or more group of boys were always found. It was alive.
Campus Life
The college provide hostel facility with good internet speed. At my time the fee was just Rs 60 per month. Including electricity bill and bed cost. There was a caretaker. I would not say the facility was grand but was well enough to live. Considering the price to be paid it was cheaper than water supply. labs are well equipped with modern instruments.
