Remarks

The college is just perfect in management I've not seen such a fast development in these 3 years. In just 2 months of summer vacations i saw few hostels built there.

Entrance Preview

I scored 170 in IIT JEE mains and i opted for thapar coz it had better placements in all private colleges even better than most of the NITs.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course structure is a bit blend of all the branch syllabus in first year. But from the second year it was all branch i took focussing on technical aspects of electronics. Including digital n analog system and in the present year focussing on microprocessor.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college do provide internship. It provides a better experience than much of training centers. I took training from Delhi but my classmate who took over there gained much more than those who took training from the private center other than thapar.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placements are going good. They have subdivided the placements. Like the placements above 8 lakhs are dream company placements. Sandisk is a dream company for electronics. Delloite n other consultancy also provide better experiences. Almost every individuals gets placed here.

College Events

2

The technical fest like aranya is a good fest including many techincal events like robo war and students get more to learns from it. Apart from the academic schedule taking part in these fest built's up their personality and they get to know how to manage people by organizing events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit expensive but worth because it provide an overall development of the student. And this makes it possible for a student that if the family spends too much on him then he realizes somewhere he has to pay them back by performing well Including hostel the fee is 1.67 lakhs in the present sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides better scholarship the top 10% of every branch student gets 62000/- as cash. Other higher scholarships include income scholars which have 2 lakhs of payback of the total fees.

Campus Life

1

The environment in this college is so affectionating i we not seen a person till now who has been so rude or biased too me maybe this is because of the basic manners that are being taught in a rich or a middle class families. You can relate it with the lifestyle. The rooms are clean. I've been to kota for 1 year to prepare for IIT. But i didn't found the environment as generous as it is here.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel and mess food depends on which hostel you are staying into. The j hostel provides better facilities than other hostels there. The cluster of 11 people includes fridge tv and single seater rooms. The food includes a variety of breakfst having cold coffee and roohafza milk in summer.

Alumni/Alumna

I joined the national society of my branch i.e. IETE there i came to know how much helpful they are not just because they tell me so much about placements and helping me in projects but also hanging out to get mixed up with their juniors.

Exam Structure

The schedule for the college is too much hectic. From morning 8 a.m. to evening 5 p.m. with just 1 hour of lunch break makes me exhausted sometimes. Labs should be made for 1 hour rather than 2 hour because much of that time is just wasted in gossiping and non utilised.

Admission

The admission form was filled online and on the merit basis i got to know about my conselling on i guess 2nd july and i took electonics branch over there consulting the seniors of that college. The conselling was a hectic duration coz there were too much rush as it was the second best private college after BITS pilani.

Faculty

2

The faculty is well qualified especially the course coordinators. They have a deep knowledge about the subject. But coming into the experimental aspect of the study they do not provide that much facilities in labs and divide the students into groups which becomes a bit clumsy sometimes.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??
