Remarks

The university is famous for its courses and all my family has studied from this university, so even I wanted to. Another reason is university is close to home and I wanted to go somewhere near home.

Course Curriculum Overview

5 year law course in my university is updated and our syllabus is very practical. We are given exposure by trips to courts, lectures on various topics of law and then we are made to practise this by moot courts.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities after completion of degree are many since one can work with private firms or can practice on their own in courts. If they don’t want to practice they can give exam for judiciary or civil services and then it depends on their merit.

College Events

Events conducted in the university are on a national level and are very well managed. They are conducted both on university level and some events are held on department level every year, specific of their courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is good and as our integrated course so one year is saved by the course. And legal background is good fpr future. But fees is very high according to course. Overall course is good but faculty can be better

Experience at a common uni #PU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opt Bcomllb from uils department. It's a professional course. The course duration is 5 years with 10 semesters. Different Syllabus and curriculum is followed. Teaching method is okay and MST are taken and presentatioms were held in each semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very relevant and prepared using alot of time and effort by the faculty . It has alot of real life implications and using various other facilities they prepare us for practical implementation of knowledge into courts and othe legal proceedings . The areas of improvements are very less and only one comes to mind that is the the students with late admissions should be provided with lectures for preparation of the topics already covered . The exams are very well timed and the difficulty level is that of the top institutions of the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the courses is very well created, although the difficulty level is more. The curriculum also needs major upgradations with time including AI tools, proper use of technology with E-books in classrooms, proper usage of online teaching aid and study material. Softwares for plagiarism check and research resources are much needed. Also there's evolution coming in skill development courses with increasing seminars and guest lectures.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not as good as compared to other universities. It provides low package like 35000 per month . Median salary is 2.2 lakhs . Placements also depend on the CV of the students and marks he/they got in the university exams. In law particularly , lesser number of student pursue placement in Panjab University. The average package offered is 3 - 4 lac per annum . Some of the companies that frequently visit are Ernst & young , Infosys , wipro , vodaphone , Adobe etc .

Looking forward for something more

Remarks:

More interactive sessions, more no. of events can be organised. Non- teaching department can be more humble and should be in fact Professors should not be biased, which they are Overall experience is good, I will be taking no. Of lessons from here along with me Till far, it has been a blended mixture of study,events, competitions & lifetime learning which in all have resulted in personality growth
