Hostel is 24 /7 is open amd environment of hostels
Environment of university and staffs of the depts
Staff of hostel and security is 100% amd clean environment

Warden of hostel is very rude and she don't know how to treat students
Staff of uni department in not cooperative

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good and as our integrated course so one year is saved by the course. And legal background is good fpr future. But fees is very high according to course. Overall course is good but faculty can be better

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our annual fees is around one lakh and ten thousand. Our course is not very affordable. Every semester there is an examination fees around 2200. This amount has been increased in comparison to last year.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. And yes we can walk at late night because environment and campus is save and security gaurd are very good and library is also opened for 24/7 and we can enjoy at late night amd hangout with friends

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good. Food in our mess has different menu for different days. A nutritionist is also provided to our hostel to make our meals healthy and nutritious. We have a canteen facility inside our hostel as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

As first I was applying for Chandigarh university for my course but i chose panjab university because it is a government university and the environment of the university is good and yeas we can say that university is good

Faculty

Faculty members are not that much cooperative, and not guiding us for our future, lack of faculty os in our department. Profferes are good but new technology should be used for studying. And overall faculty is good.

Night Life

Night life is good and we can enjoy late nigt in campus as environment is very safe and we can enjoy late night with our friends even getting out from our hostel is very easy and we can enjoy a lot in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum focuses on all aspects of the subject like in law it includes civil and criminal both. The teaching merhod of every professor is variant but effective. The curriculum helps in creating confidence and prepares for outer world as it includes interactions and presentations with and in the class.

UILS Review

Placement Experience:

The career development cell of UILS deals with placement offers and internships. The aim of the career development cell of the university has always been to provide a conducive environment for the all-round professional growth of students by providing them with the best internship opportunities, skill development sessions and placement opportunities with consultancy firms, renowned law firms and litigation chambers based in Delhi and Chandigarh. In the year 2020, CDC was successful in securing internships at tier-2 law firms and assistantships under the professors from prestigious institutions like Oxford, Cambridge, City University of Hong Kong and Jindal Global University. But many people believe that the placement cell is not very active here. Most of the students in UILS prefers for litigation and for civil services, rather than opting for different firms. The college is very clear on its agendas and does not fool the students but still some students doubt it. Don't know why?

UILS- Make efforts and the world will be yours!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Often it is seen that making a decision while selecting an appropriate college is a difficult choice. A college is judged on various parameters such as infrastructure, faculty, placements, exposure to the industry, fees structure, etc. The institute is good as it has a reasonable fee structure, exposure in terms of the internships, moots, MUNs, etc. organised here from time to time. That's why I opted for UILS. The teachers are well-qualified and provide good knowledge to the students. Except for a few teachers, all teachers are good. The curriculum gives a really good insight and knowledge. Exams are held twice a year as each year comprises two semesters and the exams are easy.

Remarks:

The university is famous for its courses and all my family has studied from this university, so even I wanted to. Another reason is university is close to home and I wanted to go somewhere near home.

Remarks:

The environment is very friendly and supportive but it's very limited. It lacks in aspects of providing exposure and opportunities except moot Court competitions. It is not well equipped with regular summer schools and special courses in particular laws.

Entrance Preview:

I took Panjab university test for entrance in law. I got 16 rank and got admission here. I opted for this university as it is one of the oldest , beautiful and best universities of India.

There is an enterance exam namely PUCET-PG for the admission. The difficulty level is moderate, it includes mathematics, english, logicl resoning.
