The college was one of best college at our time and study was good.

Taken direct admission on merit basis after passing the after Pre-Engineering exam from college at Rajpura.

Course Curriculum Overview

This was 3 years course in Civil Engineering. 1st year was common for all the course. From 2nd year subjects were according to engineering.In final year there was 6 month practical.

There was cultureal programme every year and some time reputed singer were also called for the function.There was once Cycling tour from Patiala to Dehradoon covering around 300 Km.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There as very nominal fees and fees has to be deposited every month.From 2nd year subjects were according to engineering. In final year there was 6 month practical.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was given scholarship for my matric and pre-engineering exams. No scholarship was awarded in engineering college.

Campus Life

College culture was good and there was understanding between students and teaching staff. There was no much politics in our college.Techinal workshop and tours helps us much in understading our course.

Hostel Facilities

I had not opted for hostel as my residence was only 25 Km from my residence. However as per my friends hostel was good and quality of food was also good.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

The experience with our seniors were not so good. In initial days there was some ragging but later on it was OK. The interaction n with seniors was not so good.

Exam Structure

Exams ware semester wise. Every semester there were four papers and one practical.Every one has to pass all the papers to goto next level and I had completed all without any fail.

Faculty

All the professor were good in teaching. They take care of their students.This was 3 years course in Civil Engineering. 1st year was common for all the course. From 2nd year subjects were according to engineering. In final year there was 6 month practical.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Placement Experience:

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. The addimission was on the basis of JEE result and for COE branch the cutoff was approx 83 with punjab state quota. There is no exam for it just an form to be filled....Read More

inside campus walls

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
