Remarks

Actually I want to pursue Btech from a reputed college So after giving Jee mains 2019 I thought this would be the best college I can get with this rank. As Panjab Univeraity is a brand in itself and also being a government college, fees was low compared to that of other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I am a student of ECE branch so I can say that Ece is the best branch in Uiet in terms of curriculum. Syllabus is constantly regulated and changed. Faculties are same as in any other government college. They dont take much effort teaching you,even some professor dont take classes regularly. Not all the professor are same, some are very helpfull.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Placement Experience

This year placement was very good with highest package around 41 lacs. Google, Amazon,Microsoft,Airtel, Goldman Sachs are some of the reputed companies that recruited student this year. Placement is quit good but placement cell dont provide enough data. Entrepreneurship cell is active in college but I dont think that any famous startup has been founded in recent times

College Events

Campus life is good here. Although campus size of Uiet is not that big but Panjab University is their with full green campus. The main festival of UIET os Goonj which is good as my senior told me but I can't experience it get cancelled due to Corona Also their is sports festival which is excellent and I have also participated in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was alloted seat under EWS category so I get a fees redemption but keep in mind your admission should be done under the category to avail the scholarship. You can get loan facility also but I dont know much.

Campus Life

Campus has 3 blocks and a workshop building separately. Campus has its own Canteen and food their is really cheap. Campus also had a SBI ATM. Wifi is available in all over the campus with average net speed around 3 mbps. Campus has its own library which is good in size although you can also use central libraru of Panjab University i.e AC Joshi Library.

Hostel Facilities

I got hostel in 2nd Sem. So hostel is not that good because buildings are quiet old. Hostel room are alloted on a shared basis whether two seater or 3 seater. You can change the hostel room by contacting with warden. The hostel are overall good considering the fees. The hostel life is great here with full wifi connectivity. Pg you can also get in sec 22,37,38 easily with priced around 6k -12k.

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Remarks:

This college is the best college in northern punjab. Also my house is near to this college.The placement for nurses are best. Education is best quality. Best practical knowledge. The cultural events boost up confidence. Duties in the hospitals are up to the mark. Timing and training given is best by my college.

Admission:

I appeared the NATA entrance exam and I score good result and also I had good results in my 12th class, for which my application for admission got selected and I got the admission here in this college without any difficulty.

The structural expertise of Architecture

Remarks:

The college does not have any negative remarks. The college infrastructure is good and the college overall experience is also really nice. The college is dedicated to the research for architecture field and aims in producing highly efficient artitects.

For god sake, I'm really glad and blessed that I choose this campus. It is one of the best campuses in India, and if we talk about the management then they are also really good they took too much care of their students or facilities of their students and the management do their best to best for the students.

Faculty is well educated

Admission:

forms were filled.various colleges were selected and then counselling was done in the post graduate government college for girls sector 11.college were assigned on the bases of merit then we have to go to the assigned colleges and then fees was submitted and then college began after one week of fees submission

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
