Remarks

My college has one of the best facilities in DU of my subject that is sociology. Also there are very less college in Delhi and du in this course so yeah. Fees is also less and DU is good. Also, unlike mumbai college it provides hons. Degree.

It is very good. Teachers are extremely nice and try their best to teach us. They put lot of efforts. My department has nice teachers and manageable can't say about other departments. Department is strict and helpful

It is always fun. DU college are filled with extra curricular. With all the society and department activities Their are fests and people all around Delhi college and one can learn a lot through. It includes from fashion to dance and art.

I don't know about any good scholarship/loan facility offered by your college that you know of or availed

Campus Life

It is very ordinary but nice. We have limited Wifi. Sports is also fine. Labs are also nice. Facilities won't. be so nice but opportunities are provided for every thing and College helps us with everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course curriculum are good but need some improvement.there is 3 subject in 1st year and 3 subject in 2nd year and only 2 subject in 3rd year and 11 subject in last 4th year so last year very tough.we need some more subject in 3rd year even 1st and 2nd year so we got some less headache in final year.

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

There was no such provision of jobs or fixed placements however there was a placement cell which was quite active and hence there were opportunities for placements by contacting the cell and placement fairs were also organised that were open for all, but not many opportunities were given. The companies that took candidates were economic times, TOI etc paying a very basic fresher stipend of 10-15k. Very few students actually got to know about these placement drives hence the placements weren't great also not many companies came on campus.
