Remarks

Heard good things about it. Lot of my relatives told me it's good and I wanted a bit of freedom to do my own thing which is quite nicely available here and besides everyone is looking for that college life so yea study and chill out guys

It's been my 1st year only I can't really say we were suppose to go for an industrial trip but then covid hit us however we were given webinars on using linkedin 3d printing etc. So somehting good did come out of this pandemic

They do help us with alumni meets and everything so that if we want to do our own thing we can approach the right people for it and then make our dreams a reality through proper guidance and sheer hardwork

Yeah, the peeps are all good so far the seniors are kind help us out with stuff. The events are quite cool and really help us relax and unwind a little. Participation is again mostly depends on how well connected you are to your seniors

Campus Life

Yea it's good like the ground is really good for sports and all library is air conditioned with good wifi labs and all are simple yet effective. You can even take a nap in the library if you've had a rough day.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

Before 2019, all admissions to B.Tech programs were done through a test conducted by GGSIPU. But from 2019 JEE Mains scores are used for admission. The cutoff of different programs is decided by the University. An applicant has to fill out an online admission application form in which they have to mention their JEE Mains rank and their preferences of the GGSIPU colleges.
