Remarks

One of my brothers waas studying in that college so he appreciated me to jion this college. It was really nice to study here. Nice quality teachers and professors are there. Nice infrastructure of college to make it attractive. Everything is available here for study and for other extra curricular activities also.I really enjoyed my whole college days.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to my opinion the syllabus of my course was very nice amd good enough for gathering knowledge about engineering and technology.We visited industry also like paper mill industry in Ahmedgadh. All faculties are very nice and responsible. Amrik sir was my favourite teacher. Prof. Arvind Jayant sir was very helpful to me in my project in final year. He is also a nice person.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was done only industrial training three time each for 6 weeks only.

Placement Experience

Prof Ravi kant mishra our HOD of training and placement department was doing a great job for placement of us. Many good companies came and students got placed at good package level.

College Events

My campus life was very nice.I have done my extracurricular activities. I joined many groups and really enjoyed my journey with them. Technical fest was very nice. I was committee member of hospitality committee.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had not availed any scholarship in my college. But there was scholarship for those students who were toped in entrance examination.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is very nice.A big multipurpose group is there for every sports and a seperate stadium for sports like cricket and running track is also there.Wifi facility is excellent there. Library is also very good every book can be find there.Labs are nice to work in it.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is also nice there. The hostel facility was also very nice. Bathrooms were very good. Indoor games can be placed in hostels. TV room and sports room are there for students.wifi facility was available there.tne room was nicely designed for students.

Hostel Fee: INR 17400 per year

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
